[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][font=verdana][size=10px]Fluffy tail wrapped neatly around white paws, the wolf sat there with her bright visionaries focused down on her feet, watching as she moved her tail a bit only to have the tip flick back and forth in an impatient manner. Having just joined the Clan a little while ago, Callie didn't really have any friends, which is exactly why she was searching around to make some.

No smile was on the wildcat's muzzle, and she attempted to keep her expression unreadable as she approached the wolf. Pepper bit her lip as she tried to keep from weeping again, and was surprised to notice blood on there. She swiped a white paw over her maw, and took a seat near the wolf. Permafrost had to come back soon. Her dad wouldn't stay dead - he had come back before when he had once died. "Hello," Peppermint finally said quietly, as she settled near the canine. Normally, she would have been much cheerier, but not now.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][font=verdana][size=10px]Having been completely aware of Permafrost's death, the canine moved her head to gaze towards Pepper, blinking her light orbs as she parted her jaws to reveal sharp canines, speaking up. "Hi there. I'm Callie." The female stated quietly, offering a faint smile. "Were you two close?" When she asked that, she was talking about the former leader.
-

She glanced over at the wolf, and managed a weak smile. "My name's Peppermint - it's nice to meet you," The pale serval murmured in answer. When Callie asked if she was close, it was easy to realize who the female was referring to. "Y-Yes," She nodded her head. "Perma was my Dad..." It felt weird talking about him in the past.
-
[align=center]Hemlock knew of the Lord's demise despite joining after the discovery of Permafrost's body; news of such an event spread quickly. Naturally, he'd not known much about the tiger, but it seemed that he got around a lot; there seemed to be a surplus of SunClanners mourning their recently-deceased dad, who happened to be named 'Permafrost'. He tried to be considerate of those feelings, though the urge to question them on exactly what they thought death was was close to overwhelming. Padding over, the seal point flashed a sympathetic smile. "I'm sorry, Peppermint." meowed the knight softly, seating himself. [b]"I'm so sorry."

[justify][fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 320px;][size=7pt]Daisypaw had to do her job: help all those ill, injured or troubled. Her vivid blue orbs flickered over the group silently as she trotted over, pale tail resting on her white paws. "Yes, all b-b-bad things must c-come to an end. P-permafrost will be m-missed." The physician apprentice meowed silkily, eyes tearing up at the thought of her dead leader - ah, she'd miss the great white tiger who had rattled her tiny frame when she first met him. "I-If you need s-someone to talk to P-peppermint, c-come by the m-medical room."

nightpaw wanted to become the friend tycoon he had once been, with knowing everyone in sunclan and being friends with most of them. after all, there had only ever been one person he did not get along with and that tomcat was never really seen around anymore. he was not exactly in a good mood, but he was trying not to specifically think of the recent death even with the reminders everywhere. he had to act happy and then maybe he could convince himself that he truly was. so, with a smile on his face, he walked towards a she-cat he did not recognize, hoping to introduce himself. however, the sight of peppermint distracted her and even though she obviously already had the support of those around her, he took a seat next to her and gently flicked her back with his thin tail, giving her wordless comfort. he glanced towards her, hoping to catch her eyes for only the merest moment, before returning to looking at callie. it was then that the grin returned, less enthusiastic than before but still there all the same. "hello, you must be new to sunclan. i'm nightpaw, and you are?"

[align=center]Seeing as no one was currently speaking to him, Hemlock faded briefly from reality, pondering on subjects such as the actual existence of the universe and what would happen if the world ended.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][font=verdana][size=10px]"Me? Oh, I'm Callie- I'm new, yeah." The white wolf responded to Nightpaw, looking towards the tom with a faint smile, not in the mood to talk much although she had been interested in making friends. That didn't mean she was interested in not ever shutting up. Then she looked towards Hemlock who just seemed to be there, tail waving a bit.
-
[align=center]Hemlock didn't seem to notice Callie's glance; he sometimes tuned out of his surroundings, submersing himself in the world of his rather strange mind. This was one of those times; a human could have walked past and he would not react.
-

"Thank you," She mumbled in response to Hemlock when he offered his apologies. "T-Thanks, Daisychains," She responded to the female gratefully, feeling thankful for her offer. Her blue eyes met Nightpaw's gaze, and she nodded her head in a silent way of thanking him for his wordless reassurances. At least she had her clanmates and friends to support her during this time.
