"You can't blame the poor boy for that" Denmark said then brings up a new topic "My people is trying to kill the poor girl just because they think she's cursed" He said then asks "Would it be alright for her to stay here for like two years or so?"
Viola squeaks and starts shaking "V-Vladdy what are you doing?" She asks
"That is fine. Why do they think she is cursed. She seems like a sweet girl....did they discover about the deal. There is a bit of a supposed vampire craze going around. Though there are vampires, they are hidden away and only come out on occasion to take blood slaves and feed." Russia said.
"Your blood is yummy." Vladimir said, there was a bit of blood on his mouth. His eyes widened as he realized what he had done, they went back to their normal color. "I-im sorry. I was thirsty and....I'm a vampire." He said shyly.
Denmark sighs "I told them the day before she was born the next girl born in my country would be the blood wife, then the next day Nora gave birth to her and her twin brother, I had no choice but to keep my word to my people, but we made her stand out from the other children by making her wear dresses Nora enchanted" he says then explains how the dress worked "If something or someone drinks her blood it turns black"
Viola was scared but didn't let it show "i-it's OK Vladdy, i-i understand" she tells him
"Your scared of me aren't you....just like all the other kids." Romania said sniffling, tears in the little vampire's eyes. He remembered one day he had tried to play with some other kids but when someone got hurt and Romania's fangs showed......they had all ran away calling him a monster. That's why he locked himself away in his room, believing he was indeed a monster and never bothered to play with other kids anymore.
"Then we will see if the dress is black when the kids come back inside." Russia said, that smile never faltering off his face.
Viola hugs Romania "You're not a monster Vladdy" she tells him, trying to calm him down, too busy to notice the pure white dress turning black "you're my first friend Vladdy, I would never be scared of you" she tells him
"If it is Black and if he thinks her blood is sweet, she's his Blood wife for eternity since she's a new country" Denmark explains to Russia "Do you have any Vodka?" He asks
Romania whimpered and snuggled close to her. He hadn't gotten much hugs through out his life and she was so warm. "Friend?" He said almost not believing the word.
"Why of course." Russia took a couple of shot glasses as well as a bottle of vodka out of his cabinet. Yes he had a cabinet just for vodka.....multiple actually. He poured both of them a glass.
"No... not friend" Viola says "Best friend" she finishes and smiles at him
Denmark thanks the Russian for the vodka and drinks it
Romania smiles, "Watch this." He said. Using magic he conjured up a little hat for Viola to wear, it was a tiny black top hat with ribbons of her favorite colors. He took it and put it atop her head.
Viola giggles " thank you Vladdy!" She cheers and gives him another hug. She really did like Vladimir, he was the first person who didn't say she was cursed or wanted her dead and she was glad about it
Denmark looks outside to see the sun set "it's getting late, where are they?" He asks his Russian Allie
"Let's head back now." Romania said smiling as he began to climb back down the tree. He was happy to have a best friend. Viola was so nice to him and she didn't make him feel like a monster.
"They are having fun and bonding Denmark. I am sure the kids will return shortly." Russia said.
"Ja, by the way I already bought her some clothes, but, you might have to go shopping for more in the future" Denmark explains and points at the suit case Viola bought
Viola giggles and climbs down the tree, once at the bottom she nods at Romania then yawns
Romania took her hand and began to walk back to the castle. The sounds of wolves howling echoed through the night. "Ah the children of the night what music they make." Romania said happily.
Viola giggles "Mama use to tell me I sounded like a wolf" she tells him, listening to the howls
"I wish I knew my Mama...." Romania muttered as they got closer to the house.
"She might of been a nice lady," Viola reassures her vampire best friend
Romania smiled softly, "I guess..." he said as they made it to the front door. He knocked on it and Russia looked up. "Denmark, why don't you let the kids in." He said.
Denmark nods and gets up and opens the, only to become pale from seeing Viola white, now black, dress
"What's wrong Mr. Denmark?" Romania asked innocently. He looked at Viola and he smiled when he saw her dress. "A magical dress." He said in wonder. He hadn't been able to conjure up the spell to change the color of things. He didn't know he was the cause of the dress' s color change.
"It's nothing" Denmark lies then turns to Viola "Faroe, I need you to stay here for a while" he tells her "I already carried your stuff in, including your books Norway got you"
Viola nods "ok Denmark" she says
"She gets to stay?!" Romania said happily, his eyes bright. He hugged Viola and laughed, "You can sleep with me! Of course I will give you your privacy and leave the room when you have to put on clothes." He said excitedly. You had to understand the vampire child's enthusiasm, another child had ever stayed over at his house before.
