    [justify]He'd tried to make the presentation somewhat romantic, even though he only intended to to ask her as friends. The tomkit was also completely unaware that if Kelseypaw did agree to go to the Valentine's Ball with him, his sister would pissed at him.


    With a small bundle of flowers set by his side, Pockykit was seated near the camp entrance, tail flicking nervously. It's only as friends, he continuously reminded himself, but that didn't settle the butterflies fluttering in his stomach. It would suck if she rejected him. But he managed to gather the courage and call her name. "Um, Kelsey? You around?"

    "hey pock!" hersheykit skipped up, smiling happily. a valentines day ball? very interesting. what girl or boy would she ask? maybe kelseypaw... maybe just maybe. the thought disappeared though, seeing as she was with her favorite brother. "what's up?"

    It wasn't very often that she heard her name being called , but now she assumed it was not just a trick of her mind and that dinnertime really was calling her. "Hey Pock! Hey Hersh," Kelseypaw greeted the two siblings with a smile. "Did you call me?" Now her aqua eyes were focused on Pockykit. "What's up?"

    Trackerjacker sat off to the side, grinning at the side of the younger cats. He loved seeing children interact. They were so carefree and fun-loving. Jack himself was not very old, being only about two and half years old, but he felt much older, especially in the presence of all the kittens that were running around ShadowClan these days. Not that that was a bad thing.

    [justify]Pockykit gave his sister a small smile as she approached him. "Hey Hershey. I was going to..." And then there she was. Agh, it shouldn't be to hard. It was just as friends. He stared down at his paws for a moment before looking back up at the apprentice. Before he could chicken out, he muttered, "Um, Hey Kels. So, I was wondering if y-you could go with me to the Valent-tines's Ball Day thingy... as friends, of course."

    Tilting her head as she listened, her smile grew wider. "Oh. Uh, sure," Kelsey meowed with a quick nod. "Yeah. Friends do stuff like this." She wasn't sure why she felt nervous, too, but at least she had a reason to go to the party now. "It'll be fun."

    Why was everybody asking everybody else out? Unknownkit couldn't really see a lot of point to it. Perhaps he was just being grumpy since no one had asked him yet. Well, he'd still try not to be so negative around the two. Instead, he just watched them a little while before slinking off.

    Looking from the flowers to Pocky to the obviously angered Hershey, she let out a sigh. "Should we go talk to her?" Kelseypaw meowed in a whisper, turning to the tom.

    Pockykit didn't see the problem; he was unaware of the fact that his sister had a crush on the pretty apprentice. The tom would leave it to Kelseypaw. [b]"You can. I don't think I'd do well in the situation."

    "Maybe she's just upset about something else," Kels mused with a shrug. "It couldn't be something we did. . . Right?" She too was unaware of the fact that she basically had a secret admirer.
