OOC: I might make a prophecy.
Autumnpaw looked up at her mentor. "Nuisance?!" she meowed, a little annoyance in her tone.
Frostleaf laughed, "Indeed...." she said, giggling.
OOC: I might make a prophecy.
Autumnpaw looked up at her mentor. "Nuisance?!" she meowed, a little annoyance in her tone.
Frostleaf laughed, "Indeed...." she said, giggling.
Speedstar chuckled, "yes, you heard me" he meowed, sticking his tongue out childishly at the young apprentice, "good apprentices dont back talk-so shush! you can beat the tar out of me later, not yet" he turned to frostleaf, smiling broadly, "care to go on patrol? i want to test Autumpaw's hunting skills" he glanced at her paw-which had been badly injured a moon ago, worriedness entering his eyes and tone, "and to make sure her leg isn't acting up"
Thicketwing glanced around, seeing no cat near the medicine den entrance-or spotting him-he padded in, smiling through the leaves, "He-oh" he paused, seeing the she-cats sleeping form. Longing suddenly tugged at his heart. Placing the plants down, he glanced suspiciously at the medicine den entrance before smiling, his pelt tingling. Carefully, he curled up next to the medicine cat-not caring that he was half-way sleeping on cold floor-and pressed his back against hers. Like a summer wind, warmth spread through out his body and, in a matter of second, the proud tom was a snoring ball of content fluff.
The white and ginger she-cat cuddled closer beside the warmth that suddenly replaced the cold ground beneath her. A small smile crept along her face as she buried her head in the warm fluff of the body beside her. As she was swept away by the tom's warmth, she gingerly started purring. She started to slip deeper into sleep, feeling like a newborn kit beside her mother.
Silverjaw laid in camp by his self.
Sorry low muse today))
"Sure!" Frostleaf smiled. She turned toward the entrance and looked back at them, "Autumnpaw come on!" She flicked her tail at the apprentice.
"Ok, Ok!" she said and raced after her. Her paw felt fine, she hoped she wouldn't mess up anything on the hunting training.
Jetpaw paced around, bored. He had asked Amberleaf where Thicketwing was, then soon after he left the den, Thicketwing came in to the den. As he paced around, confused, he wondered if should check on them.
Riversnow licked her fur before padding out of the warriors den, her fur seemed to shined like ripples of soft gold. She padded over to Jetpaw and softly spoke her tone warm " what's the matter? "
Silverjaw rested his head on his paws, he had a moony look in his gaze, daydreaming of Brindlepaw.
"I fell like Autumnpaw hurting her paw a moon ago was all my fault," Jetpaw meowed to the she-cat. "By the way, I asked Amberleaf where Thicketwing was, then soon after I saw Thciketwing int there a long time..."
AmberLeaf started to open her blue eyes a bit, first the light hurting them and then adjusting a bit. She yawned and stretched softly as she laid on her belly. She gently turned her head to look at what was causing the heat beside her, ThicketWing
((low muse ))
Speedstar smiled and followed after the she-cats
Thicketwing purred softly, lost in peaceful darkness
brindlepaw pranced around, sniffing flowers and dodging bees
AmberLeaf gently nudged the tom who was peacefully sleeping. As she was nudging the tom awake, she saw a hint of yellow out of the corner of her eye. She stood herself up on her tired legs and walked over to the marigold, she gently smiled.
Riversnow nodded understandingly " I don't think it was your fault Jetpaw, I'm sure she doesn't think so too. Sometimes things just happen when we don't want them to" she curled her tail around her paws and added " So I'm not the only who's noticed that. .. Thicketwing had been going to the medicine cat den almost too often"
Silverjaw saw Brindlepaw and his heart tightened, the tom always lost his breath at the sight of her.
AmberLeaf picked up the Marigold, placing it in it's rightful place in the den. She then smoothed down her fur with a couple of licks and then padded out into the clearing, hearing the last words of what RiverSnow had said. Her tail twitched awkwardly and her head hung, she knew this is what would happen. She shuffled her paws nervously and stood up.
BrambleHeart trotted out of the warriors den, his eyes sparkling and a bounce to his step.
"um...?" thicketwing mumbled, blinking awake against the nudging. the first thing he noticed was the lack of warmth. He blinked, stretching his front paws and sitting up. He glanced around, confused. were had amberleaf gone? he scratched his ear before getting to his paws
brindlepaw nosed through a pretty path of clovers when she paused, noticing a small mound of rocks behind the warriors den. She blinked, getting to her paws and trotting over to it. Her eyes widened when she spotted the plant growing in a crack in the stones
AmberLeaf walked inside, her eyes wide and her body shaking, "T-ThicketW-Wing..."
Jetpaw nodded, "I know! Thicketwing not even hurt......" He meowed. He pondered for a moment, then it hit him. "Riversnow.....I think I know what's going on....." He didn't want to blurt out so he said it in a whisper, "Their in.....love."
Before padded out of the camp, Frostleaf looked at Brambleheart, "Look who's happy!" She smiled, before continuing out of the camp. Once they were out she faced Autumnpaw, "What do you smell?" She looked at the apprentice.
"A....." Autumnpaw meowed, sniffing the air, "Mouse!" She looked in the direction of the scent.
She gasped her eyes wide with shock " But that's against the warrior code" she sighed hppefully they'll handle it themselves. She looked over at Jetpaw " You must not speak a word of that, they'll figure it out soon." Riversnow rubbed a paw over her nose and flicked an ear " This clan is just full of love......." she murmured half to herself.
Silverjaw got up and yawned before padding into the warriors den and over to his nest. He gave his chest fur a few licks before looking around the empty den and settled down his paws tucked underneath his fluffy chest fur.
Speedstar padded beside frostleaf, smiling at the two she-cats, his chest filling with pride at his deputy's intellegence and his apprentice's excitement to learn. He himself sniffed the air, nodding "yes! now, demonstrate the hunters crouch and catch it" he ordered, still smiling with pride
Thicketwing blushed, then pointed to the herbs, "i got you some marigold" he glanced at his paws, "sorry...I was tired from, er, hunting so much, and i fell asleep on a mossy nest-i must've rolled to you" he meowed, shuffling his paws like he always does when he's lieing. He sighed and got up, "ill go, i hope you enjoy your day, Miracleleaf" he meowed, smiling softly at her before heading out of the den-careful not to brush pelt with her when he knew it would probably worsen things. He couldn't help but feel guilty. All he was doing was making life harder for her, and for himself, but the more he glanced at her, knowing she, too, shared his feelings, the more he wanted to just settle down with her and die of happiness.
Brindlepaw sniffed the plant, both nervous and intrigued by it. It just looked so...colorful! Red with a grey background, she was surprised no-cat had seen it earlier. Curiosity nagged at her as she poked it gently. Nothing bad happened. She leaned forward, glancing around suspicious-no cat around-and licked the skin. She pulled back, looking up and down her body. Nothing bad. It hadn't tasted much like anything, really, but the color...her fur puffed up as, finally, her curiosity won over and she plucked the single red berry from the dark green stem and plopped it into her mouth, chewing contentedly.
((im sorry, couldn't help myself X3 Its my thing injureing my charries, hehe))
Ooc: So sorry, I have a very low muse today :<
AmberLeaf watched as the tom left, she felt a deep sadness as he left. She always felt happy beside him but she could never fully be. She was a Medicine Cat, it's against the code. She looked back into her den, her tail flicking back and forth. She turned and stalked out of the cave, her ears pricked. She just wanted to be alone.
OOC: Injuring kittens, huh? Well that's.....nice. ![]()
IC: Soon as she saw the mouse, she went into a hunter's crouch and stalked it. She pounced killing it. "There." She looked down at her paw, which look completely fine.
Jetpaw nodded at Riversnow. "Yeah," he meowed.
Frostleaf looked over at Autumnpaw, "Great job!"
Ooc: There is a river right?
As AmberLeaf hit the outside of camp, she trotted down to the river, he paws dragging across the land. Once she hit the river bank, she sat down. Her tail curled around her paws and gently thumped angrily against the ground. What if I didn't become a Medicine Cat? What would have happened. Many questions passed her head as she sat there, looking down at the beautiful river. She felt the cool breeze ruffle her amber and white fur. Her eyes darted back and forth as she looked at the river. Like she was searching for questions.
BrambleHeart smiled bright at what Frostleaf had said and nodded as she left. He made his way to the FKP to get his morning snack, maybe he could hunt today. Help train apprentices, help AmberLeaf. Anything, he felt really happy today. Which he never is, maybe he should change that...
