Alice watched the waiter come up with their food. He smiled at them again, eying Alice. She didn't notice, since she was staring at the food.
Haru dialed Jessica's number, but didn't say anything into the phone.

Alice munched on the food, unaware of the waiter's look or Momiji's glare. "Mm, Momiji you should try this chocolate cake. It's really good." The waiter walked away without another word.
Haru froze. If Reece hated him, what did he really have to lose. "I... I... I'll do it."

She sniffed "haru? What do you mean?"

Alice reached over to take a bite of the strawberry shortcake too.
Haru sighed. "Reece hates me now. I'll be the dad."

momiji smiles and makes a happy humming sound "so good"

Haru nodded, ending the call. He wasn't sure whether that was the right thing to do. Honestly, he wasn't sure of anything. He needed Reece.

He grinned at her and got some chocolat cake o a spoon, holding it out to her
As if by magic there was a knock on the door

Alice frowned at him, but ate the cake off the spoon anyway. "I can feed myself."
Haru groaned. "Come in. But warning, I've had a really sh*tty day so make it quick please."

he blushed and looked at the table "I was trying to be romantic" he sinks lower in his chair "guys do it in films all the time....."
Reece opened the door anf walked in "I left my socks here...."

Alice shook her hands frantically. "Oh no! I didn't mean that... Uh...."
Haru was shocked, pain flashing across his face. "Oh... Okay." It seemed odd that not even a day ago, he was holding her in his arms.

she found er socks quickly and walked back to the door. As she held the handle she paused for a minute, just standing still
He glanced at her and grinned "its okay"

Haru didn't notice. He had his head in his hands, sitting in the edge of his bed. Inside, he was mentally slapping himself for everything.

She slowly turned the handle and opeed the door "I love you you know" she said before leaving

Alice nodded, getting up. "We'll split the bill." She started getting out her wallet.
Haru whipped his head up. "Wait!" He ran after her. "Please, I love you too. I love you so much and I can't stand being away from you. It... it hurts to fight with you. Please." He looked up at her. "Don't leave me."

she glances up at him before looking down at the floor again, turning away slightly "you have to be a dad"

Haru frowned. "I know. But maybe she could get an abortion. I just.. I don't want to lose you now. After everything."
