He was average in grades, looks, and popularity. He honestly didn't care though. All he cared about was making it out of high school and into the real world. He wanted to leave the petty environment he had been stuck in since sixth grade and find something to do with his life. Because even though he was okay with being average himself, he was not okay with being stuck in an average high school in an average town in an average state. --- It was about a month into the school year, a dreary day in September, and Conner was just going through the motions. All of his classes seemed to be getting more and more boring, and Conner could barely stay awake. There were only two things that kept him coming to this torturous place. The first, escape from his hometown. You might assume that he would feel sentimental about this place, but no. He only cared about a few things here. His parents and pet dog, and also his best friend. And she was the second reason why he stayed. Because she made hell less hot. |
