    Nika had been underestimated completely. The reason she had been adandoned was for her rebellious nature. It made her difficult toytain, but she was still strong. Not saying anything, her tail began to glow as she hit the iron bars woth her iron tail move. The bars were slashed open.

    Nika stretched her stubby arms forward and breathed in the fresh outside air. It was crisp and cool, as it was morning after all. She reached to scratch an itch on her ear then started forward. Reaching the edge of the tall building, Nika turned around and gripped the water pipe tightly. She slid down and land on the ground. The first thing Nika did after that was lie down on the ground, hugging it. "Never thought I'd be so happy to see dirt that I'd hug it." Nika said to herself before running into the forest near by. Springy moss lay beneath her feet as she ran. Nika picked up speed, upturning the soft moss with each spring leap. Noticing she was leaving a trail to follow, Nika darted up a tree and began jumping from branch to branch. Nika's heart raced as the wind glided past her. The feeling was exhilarating. Adrenaline pounded in her veins as she panted and gasped for air. Her lungs burned, but Nika pushed herself harder to get away from the dreaded Pokemon pound. Nika began to slow, as her body had almost reached it's limit. She leaned against the tree trunk, panting and gasping for the air her body coveted.

    Nika collapsed, her stomach on top of the broad branch. She shut her eyes as her heart beat slowed. She began to jump from branch to branch again but at a slower pace.
