in spite of the greater good of those around him, Spyro is an action-oriented soul, but whereas most are attracted to the front-lines, he prefers to be in a more commanding position. a position from which he can oversee and run the entire operation without actually being physically involved in anything. one thing can come to mind when thinking of Spyro, and that single word is king, as he has a very commanding presence, even an innate power and regal air about him. he is a natural-born leader and others tend to automatically look to him for leadership and direction in their lives. his raison d’être is to assume command and take charge, not just be the ultimate decision maker, but also be the one who takes full responsibility of things. in his eyes, he sees the world as his very own chessboard - and others are pieces to be moved about in his liking. he has a knack for orchestration and tactical manoeuvrings, being happy to make far-reaching moves that tend to affect the people around him.

in essence to his positive traits, Spyro is a soul who is completely autonomous, powerful, and responsible, in charge of both himself and his surroundings. he can easily achieve unity of effort and synergy of action to empower those around him to achieve great things. instead of taking it away from the people, he willingly gives them power. it is said that a great leader creates greater leaders, not followers who do only his bidding. unlike any other, he's in full control of himself, internal conflict is not something that he struggles with often. being self-assured is only just part of the bigger picture of his personality, and self-doubt is practically unknown to him. sure this may seem great at first, but Spyro has little insight to the inner struggle of others due to this; he can be terribly insensitive of things that make most people feel uncomfortable.

as easy as it is to say, he is not the kind of person who is happy in a lower position than what he is currently in, preferring to rule rather than do bidding. he is not one for submissive roles and often looks to the leadership aspect of something he does. throughout his life, he had always assumed the leadership role and plans to keep it that way, but he is never in a position of actual power. however, he remains to keep his assertive, directive, and self-assured persona with the little touch of certainty, power, and authority.

born in Corona, California, Spyro lived a fairly normal life, with two very loving parents who spoiled him the most out of their three children. well, that's because he's the eldest of the children, with two younger siblings each born eight years apart from each other. at around the age of fifteen, both of his parents were killed in a plane crash; at the time, his siblings and he were staying at their grandparents. devastated, Spyro fell into a depression that lasted for another two years before he took on the role of parenting his younger siblings. now nineteen, he lives in his own apartment with his younger brother and sister, serving as their "fatherly", yet "brotherly" figure. as of current, his siblings are only three years and eleven years old.
