Cody looked up "I have tons of clothes, but she's smaller than me. And, I think she'll pitch a fit if she had to wear clothes that support Anarchy.... and death. Especially death."
Waking up after 223 years {pafp} (based off a story I'm writing)

"If you'd sacrifice some shorts, I'll find a shirt of mine. It's okay if her shirt's too big, but the shorts should be her size."
-
Cody nodded "The shirt can just cover the skull I stitched onto the back pockets of all of mine." She reasoned, grabbing a few pairs of dude shorts and putting them on the unused bed. The pale girl walked downstairs and tried to hold back a laugh at what Isaac was doing.
-
Sharon picked out a shirt that was small on her. She took it and the shorts and opened the bathroom door-- the shower curtain was closed-- and laid them out. She left the room and closed the door.
"What?" Isaac asked, looking up from his work.
-
Cody raised an eyebrow "She's a thirteen year old girl, how do you think she'll react to something like looking through her diary and literally tearing it apart? Just take pictures of the pages and she won't even know that you looked in there." She explained, grabbing some orange juice.
-
Isaac looked at her. "Oh. I didn't think about it that way. I mean...crap."
Amelia emerged from the bath wrapped in a dryer warmed green towel. She found clothes had been laid out for her. She put them on herself, horrified by just how much of her skin was showing. Was this the way of the world she woke up to? She looked in the mirror at herself. She saw her face the same as always, fair skin, warm rosy cheeks with high cheekbones. Her lower lip slightly fuller than her upper. Her eyes were a strangely intense turquoise. Nothing had changed in her face. Nor her strawberry blonde hair, which was long and straight to the bottom of her rib cage where it twisted in to pretty curls. She looked down at her clothes. The shirt was pretty, with an old world touch, a light, gauzy layer over white cotton with short, lacy sleeves. She tried to ignore the skull on the back pocket of her shorts. This was Amelia in the year 2014. Never in her life did she see this coming.
-
Cody just laughed harder, choking in her orange juice. She got up after she was finished, grabbing her skateboard and yelling "I'M GOING OUT! DON'T WAIT UP!"
-
Amelia walked out and saw her with her skateboard. She didn't want to ask what it was she was going out to do. She opened her trunk and pulled out her sturdiest boot and slid then on.
"It's raining!" Sharon called back.Isaac decided to keep the diary on account of how she didn't bother to pack it with her things when she left the house. He went back down in to the basement and through the tunnel to work in peace. Sharon didn't care how late he stayed if he was in the Prior house.
-
Cody shrugged "MEH!" She yelled. She walked out in the rain and grinned as it soaked her thoroughly. She started to skate and found it much easier to to when you weren't dodging cars and pedestrians!
-
Amelia looked around the house. She picked up the house phone, which was old to most people, a big corded phone. It started beeping, only she didn't know why. She shrieked and dropped it quickly.
Isaac opened up his bag and took out his laptop and began to write about the house. He was hoping to interview Amelia.
-
After about an hour, Cody came back. She was soaked to the bone, but grinning from ear to ear. She walked over to her room and pulled out her journal, working in her novel.
-
"What is this?" Amelia asked, pointing to the phone with a mixture of perplexity, urgency and a 'sorry to bother you, this is probably stupid' look on her face.
-
Cody yelped and fell out of her bed, scrambling to find a place to hide the book. She looked up like nothing happened "Phone!" She yelled, running out of the room.
-
Was that a normal reaction to my question? She mused to herself, sitting on her bed in the room.
-
Cody froze just outside of the room, then ran back in, yelling, "DON'T READ IT!" She grabbed her book she sprinted back outside of the room, tripping on the way there.
-
"What? No, I would never invade your property. I'm just staying here until you're Aunt finds somewhere more suitable for me. There are two beds, you see." Amelia said.
-
Cody shrugged "Actually, not really. I kinda lost my glasses." She admitted softly.
-
Amelia laughed. She leaned back in the bed and drummed her fingers on the wall.
-
Cody laughed with her, surprising herself. She looked over "Hey, you wanna go shopping tomorrow for some clothes that don't make you look like a ragamuffin?"
-
"Sounds fun. You'll have to teach me a lot though." She said. Her stomach growled. "I'm hungry. I haven't eaten in 223 years."
