Bound to the Sea(SEMI ADV, PAFP HUMAN BOU NEEDED!!!)

    Idina lay upon the cool sand of the beach, her deep blue eyes reflecting the glowing stars above her. The waves lapped rhythmically against her royal blue tail and she hummed a soft tune to herself as she absent mindedly traces images in the sand with her index finger. Blowing a few strands of her golden curls from her face, she sighed heavily. Although she was content here for the moment, she longed to be able to walk, to run, and she longed to see a human up close, and to talk with one.

    Ok, great! If you can just post a picture of your character that's not animated, that would be great! And it doesn't matter how old he is as long as he's 25 or younger, but above 16.

    Occ: ok
    Ic: Austin walked on the beach. He knew it was late, but he likes be out there at night. He stopped walking when he saw something on the beach near the ocean. What's that near the water? he thought walking towards it.

    Idina was unaware of Austin's presence on the beach. She continued to him to herself softly, while drawing in the sand, eyes to the sky as she tried to find these things that humans called, constellations. She had only read about them in a book she found in a ship wreck, but now she wanted to try to find them for herself.


    OOC- hey, how about Idina had drawn Austin's face in the sand, but she didn't know it because one, she wasn't aware she was doing it, and two she had never even seen Austin before.

    Idina shrieked, startled as she bolted to an upright sitting position, and trying to scramble away from him. It didn't really work, because of her tail, but she tried all the same. Her eyes were wide with fear, breathing coming in quick gasps. Although she had wanted to meet a human, this was terrifying. She had read on how they would capture mermaids, put them on display and then kill them when they were no longer needed.

    Her scared blue eyes locked with his, and she couldn't look away. "He's not trying to grab me..." she thought to herself, but she remained tense and alert.

    "I....Idina." She stammered quietly, wrapping her arms around her tail and resting her chin on it. Maine of her curls fell in her face, and she quickly tucked it behind her ear, not wanting to be distracted.

    OOC/ omg I looked everywhere for a meaning of Idina and I could not find a clear one, so I'm just going to make one up!


    IC/ "It means raging storm." She said, lifting her head from her knees and sitting up straighter. "Does Austin mean anything?" She asked as she brushed some sand from her tail. She was starting to feel a bit more comfortable around him, and her eyes had lost the deer in headlights look.

    "Yeah. It means great and I guess it sort of suits me in a way. Do you think your name suits you?" asked Austin. He felt comfrotable around Idina. It's easy to talk to her he thought.

    She nodded vigorously, curls bouncing. "I'm the princess of the ocean." She boasted, eyes alight. "And royalty of the ocean is born with a power, a power that is revealed at birth. When I was born, a hurricane happened, so, that's why my mom named me Idina, because of my power. So, I can create storms, and put an end to them." She explained. "Are you royalty?" She asked, cocking her head to one side slightly.
