    there are 4 types of tabbies; classic, mackerel, spotted and ticked. knowing you orange you're probably aware of these xD but they may sound easy, and once you get the hang of them they are! but when you start they can be hell. So, here are the codes for you;




    AA = tabby
    Aa = tabby carrying solid (though you won't really need this one)
    aa = non tabby




    McMc = homozygous mackerel tabby
    Mcmc = heterozygous mackerel tabby carrying non-mackerel tabby
    mcmc = homozygous non-mackerel tabby
    SpSp = homozygous spotted tabby
    Spsp = heterozygous spotted tabby carrying non-spotted tabby
    spsp = homozygous non-spotted tabby
    TaTa = homozygous ticked tabby
    Tata = heterozygous ticked tabby carrying non-ticked tabby
    tata = homozygous non-ticked tabby




    McMc spsp tata = homozygous mackerel tabby
    Mcmc spsp tata = heterozygous mackerel tabby
    mcmc spsp tata = homozygous classic tabby
    McMc SpSp tata = homozygous spotted mackerel tabby
    Mcmc Spsp tata = heterozygous spotted mackerel tabby
    mcmc SpSp tata = homozygous spotted classic tabby

    Remember. When Black cats have the dominant tabby gene, they become brown tabbies! Theres no such thing as a black tabby

    Black, cinnamon, blue, fawn, brown tabby, cinnamon tabby, blue tabby, fawn tabby
    tabbies will either be mackerel or ticked.


    also i only did the first one so i wouldn't mess them all up.
