    Isabella sits outside of her house somewhere deep in the woods. Her parents had just died and she still had no friends in this town. She looked up at the sky and sighed softly. She had a lot to think about and this just piled on top of all of it. A few animals had circled around her just sitting there watching her when she finally noticed them. One of the rabbits came up to her as she put her hand out. Her German Shepherd, Maddie was sitting nearby but the animals didn't seem to mind. Isabella started to pet the soft rabbit hoping that it wouldn't bite her. She smiled as the rest of the animals seemed to like her.

    [color=brown][font=times new roman][size=8]Admete had watched. Admete had watched as her boyfriend and best friend made out right in front of her. And the worst part? They both knew she was there. Tears had started to fall the moment she saw them together. Then? She ran. She ran away from her 'bestfriend' and 'boyfriend'. She had been seeing that her 'bestfriend' had been acting a little more rude to her, but to do this? That's just too much. Admete slumped down against a rock and closed her eyes, her sobs uncontrollable by now. How could he....How could she....How could they do this to her? What had she ever done to them? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Opening her eyes, she looked up through the branches and leaves of the tree. Feeling a sharp pain on her lip, she winced, but then realized it was because she was biting it. Wiping her mouth, she realized it was bleeding. Oh, perfect. Taking a deep breath, she rolled onto her side, not even caring about the dirt and leaves that would cover her. Everything had been going so good. Why did it stop now?[/justify]


    Isabella heard some cracks in the woods and stood up. "Who's there!?" She yelled into the woods. Maddie started to bark and growl but Isabella ignored it after seeing the animals that once surrounded her were gone. She sighs and walks through the woods a little more careful then she normally would. She saw her new house she lived in all by herself and then she started seeing blood on some rocks. She had Maddie sniff it and see who was here but Maddie didn't smell anything. "Come on Maddie lets go..." She told her dog and continued on through the woods.

    [color=brown][font=times new roman][size=8]Admete froze as she heard a voice and some barking. Pushing herself up into a sitting position, she wiped away the mascara that had run down her cheeks along with her tears, then wiped away the blood coming from her lip. Nobody could see her like this. All red eyed with messed up hair? Yah, no. Then a thought crossed her mind; What if it's her ex and her 'best friend'? What if they came to torture her? Biting down on her lip again, she backed up against the rock. What she wasn't prepared for was for a dog to jump out in front of her. Out of reaction, she screamed. I mean, who wouldn't? But then, watching the dog more closely, she noticed it was Kiida; her Siberian husky. It tilted it's head at her, seeming to be confused. "What're you doing here Kiida?" Admete smiled weakly, her voice strained. Kiida, who must've notice Admete was sad, let out a low whine and licked Admete's cheek. Admete laughed, but that was also strained, as she wrapped her arms around Kiida's neck and buried her face into her dogs neck. Kiida didn't move. She seemed to move coser and even rest her head on Admete's shoulder. Nobody could ask for a better dog.

    Isabella followed Maddie through the woods until Maddie stopped by a girl and a Siberian husky. "Who are you?" She asked her voice a little shaky. Maddie padded up to the girl and licked her face. Isabella looked at her own feet and sighed. "Maddie come." She said. The German Shepherd listened of course but was still looking at the girl sitting in front of them. Maddie was probably the best dog Isabella could ask for.

    [color=brown][font=times new roman][size=8]Admete, heart pounding, looked over at the person who said her name. It was a girl, o course, and seemed to be around the age of 19 or so. "I-I'm Admete. And this....this is my dog- Kiida." Admete glanced over at Kiida. She was growling. Confused, Admete looked at the girls dog. It was a german shepherd. "Kiida, sit." Admete snapped. It was the only way for Kiida to actually listen. But, this time, Kiida just took a few paces towards the dog. "Kiida! I said sit!" Admete snapped again. Kiida stopped, but didn't sit. Admete could tell Kiida was about to attack the dog. "Hehe, sorry about Kiida. She has a bad past with german shepherds. Killed her family...." Admete bit down on her bottom lip, once again, as she turned to the girl, watching Kiida out of the corner of her eye.


    "How could you tell she was German Shepherd?" Isabella asked softly looking down on her white puppy. She bent down and pet Maddie. "This is Maddie and I'm Isabella. You can call me Truffle though." She tells Admete. Maddie starts to whine a little as Admetes dog started to come closer.

    [color=brown][font=times new roman][size=8]"Studied. I know every single breed just by a quick glance at them. Took a long time, but it's worth it. And Kiida, get over here!" Admete almost shouted, walking over to Kiida and pulling her back. Kiida let out a small whine, but then plopped down onto her stomach. Admete did notice that Kiida was giving Maddie 'the eye', so she lightly cuffed Kiida over the ear. Then she turned to Truffle. "Truffle eh? Hm. Well, are you new here? I haven't seen you around these parts."

    Isabella smiled and nodded. "Yeah I haven't gone to the school yet. And I don't even know my way around her so." She laughed a little and picked up Maddie. "Maddie was the runt and Albino of the litter. Pretty cool huh?" She asks. She puts Maddie down and looks around the woods. "I love it here, in these woods."

    "Actually, It's not as nice as you think...It's very hard having no one there when you need them most..." She sighed sadly.

    Isabella sighed. "I'm sorry, I have a lot of things on my mind right now..."

    [color=brown][font=times new roman][size=8]"Hey, it's fine. I myself am in the same predicament." Admete responded, shrugging her shoulders. Lost in thought, she didn't notice it when Kiida got up and took a few steps away from Admete and Isabella, her ears perked up. She had heard something off in the distance, and it didn't seem too friendly. Admete, finally noticing Kiida had got up, looked over at her. "What is it girl?" All Admete got as a response was a small whine from Kiida as she backed away from wherever she had been looking and hid behind Admete, her tail tucked between her legs. Admete gave Isabella a confused look before turning to Kiida and trying to calm her down. Wasn't working.

    "Maybe either a bear or a mountain lion." Isabella responded and looked towards it. For all she knew it was what she thought.

    [color=brown][font=times new roman][size=8]Admete gave Isabella a crazy look. "How could you sound so nonchalant about that? A mountain lion or a grizzly bear? That could kill us!" She exclaimed, pushing herself to her feet. Kiida then chose that moment to let out a low growl and step infront of Admete. Swallowing nervously, Admete gazed into the trees. First she heard the snap of a twig, then a large figure emerged; grizzly bear. "Perfect..." Admete mumbled, sarcasm coating her tone of voice. Then, as the grizzly bear looked over at Admete, she remembered what do in case of a grizzly bear attack; play dead. Slowly, she dropped herself to the ground and tried to make her breathing shallow. Kiida, on the hand, curled up beside Admete and lowered her ears, snarling quietly.
