    Flashclaw called back. "Gotcha!" He bent his head to pick up the other prey that Alerionpaw had caught. This'll make the process of bringing more food to Clan faster.

    Alerionpaw got his rabbit and mouse and clumsily made his way back to his mentor, eventually getting back to him with that excited air still about him. "I got it!" he said through a mouthful of prey.

    Alerionpaw put his prey down and chuckled softly. "Right sorry!" he said. "So, we're getting this prey back to the camp, right?" he asked, looking up at Flashclaw. Flashclaw was someone who Alerionpaw really looked up to. Someone that Alerionpaw really wanted to be like one day.

    Flashclaw nodded. "Yeah." He told his apprentice. "Make sure the Elders get some food, ask if they want any food. It's always polite to be kind to the elders, remember." He reminded Alerionpaw. "After we get something to eat, we can train for fighting. Sound good?"

    "Sounds great!" Alerionpaw said happily. "Lets go!" he urged, picking up his prey again before bounding off toward the camp.

    Flashclaw arrived at the camp, once more adding to the fresh-kill pile. "You see all those mouse in the pile, Alerionpaw?" He asked. "Yes, I caught them."

    Alerionpaw looked at the pile after returning the greeting to Goldenpaw. "You managed to catch all that in the time I caught one mouse?" he asked Flashclaw. "That's amazing!" he said after adding his own kill to the pile, then picking out a plump mouse to take to the elders. "I'm going to take this one to the elders." he said to his mentor, walking over to Scarletblaze. "I brought you a mouse if you're hungry!" he said to the elder, offering a soft smile.

    Flashclaw looked at Goldenpaw. He dipped his head in acknowledgement. "Indeed I did." He told his apprentice. Flashclaw watched as Alerionpaw go off and take something to the Elders. He approached Goldenpaw. "So, Goldenpaw. How's your training going?"


    Scarletblaze nodded at the apprentice. "Aw, thank you Alerionpaw." He said, taking a bite of the mouse. "You are free to have a bite if you want some." After his response, Scarletblaze asked Alerionpaw a question. "You're Flashclaw's apprentice, aren't you?"

    Alerionpaw nodded great-fully, "Thank you," he said taking a bite. "Yes, I am Flashclaw's apprentice!" he said excitedly. "He's such a great mentor so far! Its amazing being taught by such a great warrior as him!"

    "Fine I guess. I still need a mentor but some other cats in the clan have been helping out. I have mostly been doing chores and wandering around." he said.

    Flashclaw nodded. "You're doing great so far though. Keep up the work, Goldenpaw." He praised the apprentice.


    Scarletblaze chuckled. "Of course Flashclaw is a great mentor. He was trained by the best of the best. Also known as me." He said proudly.

    "You trained Flashclaw?" Alerionpaw asked amazed. "Wow! You must have been an amazing warrior!" he said, excitement showing in his eyes. "You must have been great to make Flashclaw as good as he is!"

    Scarletblaze nodded. "Indeed. And he's exactly a great warrior thanks to me, he even told me himself. And he was the one who grieved the most when I lost my leg here." He pointed to his missing leg with his nose.

    Alerionpaw looked at Scarletblaze's missing leg. "If you don't mind my asking, how'd you loose your leg?" he asked curiously. "It must have been quite the fight!" he said, excitment showing in his eyes.

    "I don't mind you asking." He told him. "Let's see...it was a moon before you were born. There was a dog in the area. We all hunted to find it. It got behind my squad. Flashclaw was with me when we found him. This was when Flashclaw was an apprentice. The dog was just going to get him but my leg got in his way. My patrol took down the dog and Flashclaw was devastated. However, that same day he fought like a true warrior. And his naming ceremony was that day." Scarletblaze told him.

    Alerionpaw listened in aw. How amazing this elder was! He was a true hero to the clan, absolutely amazing! This is the kind of warrior Alerionpaw wanted to be some day. This is what Alerionpaw was going to strive for. He was going to be the greatest warrior Fireclan ever new! Or so he would so ambitious as to try.
