    Flashclaw dived and pounced on a rabbit, killing it in the process. He let out a purr of satisfaction. He managed to obtain plenty of fresh-kill for the Clan. So he began his process of bringing all the prey he had caught back to the camp. Once he'd finish his pile, he remembered Alerionpaw was still out there. "Well," Flashclaw said. "Let's check up and see the progress my apprentice has made." Then he proceeded to pad off to find Alerionpaw.

    In the process of Flashclaw hunting, Alerionpaw didn't get much done. He still hadn't caught any prey, but he was stalking a mouse himself right now. The last one he tried to catch managed to slip away from him, but he wouldn't let that happen again. When his prey came into sight, we moved softly, but swiftly, and when he was close enough, pounced quickly, killing the mouse with a sharp bite to the neck.

    Flashclaw had gotten Alerionpaw into his sights. 'Alright, let's see how well he's going to be with this prey. After he makes his kill, I'm gonna ask his progress.' He said to himself. The apprentice was in perfect pose, and when he made his jump, it was exactly like what a Warrior's jump would be like. Then Alerionpaw had gotten the prey in the neck, he had made the kill. Flashclaw approached him. "That was a fine kill, Alerionpaw." Flashclaw praised. "Have you made any other progress?" He asked.

    Alerionpaw smiled as his mentor praised him but then stopped when he asked about other progress. "Unfortunately no." He answered. "I tried for a rabbit before this mouse, but it knew I was coming and bolted. I made chase for a while but couldn't get it." Alerionpaw said. "This is all I have to show for."

    Flashclaw nodded. "That's understandable." He told him. "I just finished my hunting and I got a good, few mouse and a rabbit. Anyway, let's keep hunting. I think you should bring back two more pieces of prey then we'll be good. Sound fine?"

    Goldenpaw sat near the elder's den lazily pushing around a ball of moss with his large paws. He let out a yawn and stretched out before deciding to go see if the elders' moss needed changing. He pretty much just did regular duties since he was waiting to get a mentor. Till then he just did boring chores and then napped all day.

    Scarletblaze was sitting on some moss, looking outwards to the Clan camp. Everyone got along well, and it was peaceful. He observed around him and saw an apprentice pushing a ball of moss. "Good day, young one." Scarletblaze began. "How're you on this fine day?" He asked. Scarletblaze was always one to be interested in talking to the apprentices and check up on them.

    Alerionpaw nodded, "Yeah, sounds great!" He said. "I'll do my best!" He said. "I think I sleep that rabbit I missed." He said, sniffing the air, trying to locate it. He got into the hunters crouch, looking for his prey. Soon enough, Alerionpaw saw the rabbit, smiling as he stalked upon it. Alerionpaw pounced, knocking the rabbit to the side, stunning it before going in for the killing bite.

    There it was again! Alerionpaw's energy. This energy was good in the young apprentice, and he was quite pleased with how he's growing. His apprentice got into a crouch, and he knew what he was doing. He had picked up a scent of something. He padded over to him once he had made the kill. "Well well! I'm quite impressed with that crouch and how you killed that prey. Excellent work, Alerionpaw." He praised.

    Alerionpaw smiled as his mentor praised him. "Thank you so much!" He said, obviously excited still. "Now I'll just catch something else quick." He said as he buried the prey for later. After that he began to search for more prey, waiting for the scent of prey.

    Flashclaw was humored again how quickly he went after some more prey. He had caught scent of more prey in the area, quite a bit actually. At least another two rabbits. "I wonder if he can find them..." Flashclaw muttered.

    Goldenpaw realized someone had said something to him. He turned. "Oh hi. I'm collecting moss for you and the other elders. He rolled the moss over into the cave.

    "Yeah. I hope a drought doesn't happen anytime soon although I don't think it will get that hot" Goldenpaw said stretching.

    Scarletblaze laughed. "I know for a fact it's not gonna be that hot." He replied. "Makes you wish today was just a bit cooler."

    Finding the scent of another rabbit, Alerionpaw got into the hunters crouch once again, and began to stalk his prey. Eventually he found his rabbit, smiling to himself as he approached, pouncing and kill the rabbit with practiced ease.

    Flashclaw nodded in approval. "Excellent, once more." He said. Flashclaw looked around. "Alright, I'll help you carry you kills back to camp. We've caught enough fresh-kill for the moment."

    Alerionpaw nodded, an excited smile still present on his face. "Alright, I'll just go get that rabbit I left back there." he said. "I won't be long!" he called, bounding away to go pick up his prey.
