((I don't really know what has happened. I've been trying to reactivate this thread... So I really haven't looked back at the other posts..))

  • Ok.

Terryn woke up and looked at her phone. 6.42. She decided if something involved a horse, it was never too early to get up for.
She threw on a sweater and jeans, and headed downstairs. She wasn't hungry, so grabbed an apple and jogged down to the stables.
"Morning girl," she whispered to Della, took a bite out of the apple and offered the rest to her horse.

Lina looked up from Teddy's stall and smiled. "Hey Terryn." she said, grooming Teddy. Her horse was leaning into each brushstroke, happy as can be. Lina was fully dressed and had her tack on the ground outside of the stall, a sleeping bag rolled up and dry rations and jugs of water near the tack and sleeping bag. The sleeping bag had more food in it and a change of clothes. There was a tent package on the ground a foot away from the rest of the stuff. She looked out over her stuff and sighed and tried to figure out just how she could fit everything on Teddy.

Charlie got up early for once in his life and headed to Terryn and Lina's cabin. When he found it empty he frowned and headed out to the barn. He saw the tack and other stuff and sighed. Only Lina could come back freaked out from a trail ride then decide she was going to spend a night out under the stars on the very same trail. He looked at Lina and Teddy and noticed her frown. He shrugged it off and walked to Legend's stall, petting his red head.

Wb Northern :) I apologize for not posting on here, I've just been really busy with three active threads then completely forgot to reply :(.

    BIC:

Kalib rolled out of his bed with a thud, followed by a muffled groan as the duvet constricted Kalib like a python. He slowly uncurled himself and his face became a perfect licking target for Link, who'd been sleeping on the floor. Kalib pushed the dog off his face and threw the duvet back on the bed, making sure to get dressed for once.
Kalib made himself some toast and stared blankly at the floor, he was feeling a bit lonely after Kyle found his cabin mate. Kalib fed Link some dry food and filled up his water dish. He quickly ate the slightly burnt toast then filled his pocket with some sugar lumps and waited for Link to finish his breakfast.
Link barked loudly, letting Kalib know he was done, then the pair excited the house and ran down to the stables, racing each other.

    OOC:
Seriously, Google white pudding and tattie scones if you don't know what they are... They're amazing! I think they're just Scottish and British cuisine, but maybe you've heard of them before.

    IC:
Kyle yawned loudly and stretched as he sat up in his bed. He grabbed a towel from the airing cupboard and went for a cool shower, enjoying the cold water as it streaked down his body.
He quickly dried himself and got dressed then started cooking some bacon, eggs, tattie scones and white pudding. He plated some for himself and some for Jack then began to tuck in.

"Teddy and I found a trail yesterday. It freaked me out, so I'm staying out there tonight." Lina said, acting as if this twisted logic was perfectly normal. "It's not on the map either, but it connects to the river and there's a really pretty clearing where I'm going to stay. It freaked me out because Teddy smelled a cat or something and started acting up. So we're both going to face our fears!" she said cheerfully, petting her horse's neck and beginning to tack him up.

Charlie turned to face Lina. "No you're not." he said, voice even. "Not alone anyway. Find someone to go with you." he said, watching her stunned and angry expression overtake her happy one. "I am going alone. With no one else. At all. If someone follows me, then they follow me." Lina said, anger becoming clear in her voice.

  • Terryn looked on to the uncomfortable situation.
"Um, if you need anyone to go with you, I will." she said. She carried on brushing Della, then put her bridle on.

Lina jumped, breaking eye contact with Charlie. "You don't have to if you don't want to. Charlie's just worrying to much." She smiled sheepishly at Terryn.

Charlie shook his head in annoyance and pulled his hat a bit lower down over his eyes.

  • "Well, I'm heading to the woods for some cross country, but you have my number if you need me." Terryn smiled, finished tacking up Della and rode her out of the yard.

"Yes I do!" Lina said, holding up her fully charged phone.

    ((LOW MUSE! Sorry1))

  • low muse too, and after this post I will take slightly longer to reply because I'll be on my phone. :)

Terryn grinned at Lina and continued to ride Della down the lane, and into the forest track.

    ((KK!))

Lina smiled at Charlie, a I win smile. "See? I have a phone!" Charlie sighed ad shook his head but didn't continue the argument. He was fighting a losing battle and he knew it.

  • Terryn trotted Della on, and soon began cantering over some assorted logs and bushes. She grinned, loving the thrill, and felt the energy in the horse beneath her.
She soon slowed down to a walk and patted Della, wondering what Charlie and Lina were up to.

Lina smiled and finished tacking up Teddy. She put the tent on his back, just in front of her sleeping bag and food. She opened the stall, lead hi out, and mounted up heading out on the trail that had scared her.
