    Trevor rode done the dusty road. This town had long since been cleared out of everything, from survivors to supplies. Still, it was a good rest stop as most of the zombies had moved on from this area already. He struck some flint together to start a fire.

    Liz walked Behring him and grabbed his hands and put them Behind his back. "Identify your self, stranger."

    Two shadows moved through the forest that fringed near the town. the dark forms stopped and looked at the town. "What do you think?" a boys voiced asked the other shadow. "Looks like its a shell, nothing worth taking. but we haven't seen any zombies near here so we can stop and rest." the other form spoke in a girls voice.

    a small form butted again the girls leg and gave a small whine. the girl looked down and crouched. "Hey Aya, don't worry we're stopping for the night." she whispered, ruffling the dogs ear. the dog closed its eyes briefly before moving its head and perking its ears up as if it heard something the two humans could not hear. "What it is girl?" the boy asked, becoming alert.

    Jessica rode her bike along the road, she couldn't see a town in the distance and her bike was beginning to fall apart. "Crap." She muttered as a wheel creaked and started to tilt to one side. She quickly hopped off and tinkered with the wheel. Suddenly, Barley started to bark at someone in the distance. "Shush, you're going to attract zombies!" Jesse held him still and peered through the darkness.

    Ayas lips curled up and a low growl came from her. her hackles didn't rise up, but her body tensed. " Don't think its zombie, Aya knows not to growl or make sounds." the boy said looking at the girl. "Think it might be actually….. human?" the girl asked the boy. "Not sure, want to check it out sis?" the boy asked. the girl nodded and they moved together silently and carefully.

    the shadows stopped and looked at trevor. "You really want us to answer that while your pointing that?" the girls voice came from the shadows. "You may want to be careful about that choice, or you'll get hurt." the boys voice came as well.

    "Survivors have been known to attack each other for supplies. This is only for my self-defense". Trevor replied. He motioned for them to come down slowly and carefully.

    the two forms looked at each other and shrugged. they came out of the shadows together to reveal a boy and a girl at the same age. they had the same green blue eyes that watched trevor together. "That is a good point, don't you think?" the girl asked the boy. "True, but now we don't have equal ground with him." the boy said to the girl. "So does that mean we're enemies to you?" they both asked Trevor in perfect synchrony.
