The dead line for the pickings for the division chiefs were approaching, and she would truly regret the fact that she didn't take up this opportunity to become of of them quicker. The beige tabby had been in love with traveling ever since she was a kitten. In love with exploring and going onto explorations that could lead her into StarClan knew were. Although she still had loved being a warrior and leading regular patrols, sometimes she wished she was more like a captain of traveling. There was now going to be a rank for that, and Deer had been wanting to snag up the chance for that opportunity to get that position. There for, the Covenant member had hooked up with an NPC russian blue, who didn't have interest in the ambassador position, but he had wanted to help her out.
Now, she had been positioned outside of camp, and it had been around ten minutes since her partner had raced of into the familiar terrain that she had thrived in. Yet, she didn't quite know where he was. That was the task: to find your partner. To top things off, it had been snowing, which covered up traces of scent that he could have left behind, as well as some foot prints. Despite these measures, she set off, trotting away into the territory.
When she had passed up bushes, the femme began to sniff at the bare thin branches, examining the substances of which they carried as well as the scent and sometimes their temperature. Scarce, stone hued bits of fur had speckled the ends of the branches and felt slightly warmer then others, showing the femme that her partner had passed this area. Within the next 4 minutes, she had taken note of the gray fur that had been scattered along the bush tips, directing her in which way her male clanmate had rushed off too. The she continued to follow these signs until she spotted slight indents within the chilled, powdery snow. Deersong compared the paw prints with her own, examining their shape and their size. She naturally possessed tiny paws, yet the shape of the prints had been very similar to hers, despite the fact that they were faint. The tabby continued to make turnes and pivots in all directions, following the faint tracks in the snow for a solid 3 minutes before a large gust of wind whipped across her side, blurring her vision and brushing the tracks out of sight. The hazel eyed warrior grunted, chewing on the inside of her cheek in deep thought. She would look to the bushes again, yet there had been no more shrubs in sight at the moment: only trees. Yet, when she inhaled deeply, the warrior caught faint traces of her clanmate. Olive celestial pools illuminating with excitement, the she began to sniff the air before her, the faint scent trail beginning to grow stronger and more distinctive. She made her way through the white winter wonderland and soon, by following the scent trail, pin pointed the location of her NPC clanmate. A bright grin had been panted across her facial canvas and she raced over to the russian blue who had been waiting for her at then side of a frozen river bank. Together, both domestic felines made their way back to camp with Deersong only hoping that she did alright.
