    Lemonwhip was hunting to pass the time when she heard a tiny voice mumbling. She took a glance to her left and saw an apprentice a few tail-lengths behind her. She turned around and approached the cat, "You okay?"

    Downpaw nodded. " i'm fine. i just can't belive i was stupid enough to drown in the lake." she mewed.

    She gave the apprentice a comforting lick on the shoulder, "Well, at least you are part of StarClan now. You're safe here."

    "I most certainly can do that," She grinned and began in the direction she was originally going. "ThunderClan cat's like yourself prefer squirrel right? Well, I'll show you one of the forests where the squirrels are fat and plentiful. You'll love it!"

    Novastar and Ashpaw showed up.".........Whhy did I have to die,mom?!You were gonna make me leader when I got older!"Ashpaw complained."Becuase,my dear,even you can't stop a raging fire."Novastar replied."I thought I could've.........controled it and.......make it disappear...."Ashpaw sighed."You tried your best,dear......"Novastar replied."I'm gonna go hunt.Be right back mom!"Ashpaw said,and ran torwards the forest area.

    Ashpaw ran into the forest,where he killed three mice and a vole.He started to dragg the mice back to his mom,but he burried the vole for later.

    Ashpaw sat down with his mom.They ate 2 of the 3 mice."Mom,want that last one?"Ashpaw asked."No,i'm full."Novastar replied.Ashpaw nodded,and looked for someone to share the extra mouse with.
