Hey all. I'm getting back into RPing, but most of what I've done for the past few years has been very casual, instead of serious RP. I feel like I'm heavily lacking the skill I used to have, where I could post novels without a problem for a single post. Now, I struggle to para at times. I'm just looking to RP with someone who can criticize in a way that will actually help me out, instead of having me hang my head in shame. Hope to hear some responses soon!
Looking to RP with (advanced) strict, yet fun tutor

[justify][font=georgia]Hello. I'll tutor you. Will you show me your recent posts so I can see how much potential you have? -
My recent posts have been kinda short, I'm looking to lengthen my posts dramatically. I used to be able to multi-para with no issues, and I'd like to get back to that. If I have a partner who can post, I'd be glad to try and tag along with it ^_^

[justify][font=georgia]Alrighty. ^^ We're not going roleplay right now. I'm just wanting to get a sample from you so I can see what we need to work on. So tell me, what do you normally roleplay? (As in humans, cats, dogs, etc.) -
I'm a bit bigger on canines than felines, and not very big on pure humans. My most common of late was anthro animals(furries), but whatever works for you works for me. I'm looking to advance my skill in a large number of areas as well, so a bit of variety would be great :) Whatever you're comfortable with will work for me, and thank you very much for helping me like this.

[justify][font=georgia]Ah, it's no problem. c:
Are you okay with wolves? Personally, humans is my strength because I know how they act. Furries and domestic dogs aren't. I can probably write a good one or two paragraphs on those two topics, but it at least try to do three. Wolves are vicious creatures so I can be descriptive on that. -
Wolves are a personal favorite of mine, and we can try humans later ^_^ It's something I desperately need to improve anyway :)

[justify][font=georgia]Alright, cool. Sorry I haven't respond in a while, my muse was a bit low so I didn't reply to any threads.
Okay I want you to write a post of your character (wolf) hunting. It can be any length, BUT it has to be descriptive. Make sure you use proper grammar too. This will help me to get an idea of what you need to work on. c: Good luck -
Same here, that's why I put off writing this for a little while. Muse was low myself. I'm just gonna go all out and see what I can do. It's mostly responses that I screw up on.
It was cold out, the frost clinging even to the fur of living creatures. One such frosted-over white wolf stood upon a plateau, looking upon the valley, where not a thing stirred, even in the noontime overcast weather. He stood there a few moments longer, scanning for any sign of life- tracks, scat, anything that his nose or eyes could possibly pick up- and could only find a slight trace of doe urine on the wind, very faint, and likely very old, but it was the only thing that even held a chance of food.
A push of his hind legs, and he was on a lower rock, and down the rock wall he went, barely landing on small, jutting rocks on his way down to the floor of the canyon, landing with barely a stir. His paws were a little cold, but not nearly cold enough to slow his movement down the canyon, bounding over the surface of the snow as he made his way through the canyon, towards the scent he had smelled earlier.
Before long, he was at the tree, and the scent was no more recent than two days. Damnit. He was really hoping for a more recent scent. He smelled something slightly more recent on the wind from here though, definitley a buck. He saw marks of it too: old piss markings, some torn up trees, and such other things. He quickly made his way further into the forest, and mananged to find the rather thin prey, chewing on low branches without leaves, and hoping for the best. He circled around wide, making sure he was downwind of prey before he began his approach, moving extremely slowly in the thick snow to make sure he wasn't heard as he was on the approach, lifting each leg above the snow before slowly letting it down, breaking the snow with each step, and getting closer to his prey, mouth salivating in anticipation.
Just outside his jumping range, stepping forward, and *snap* A jump, barely missing his prey, just barely scratching it. Making his way through the forest, paws flashing, hooves pounding. He couldn't.... before long, he was out of breath. His prey had gotten away.... again. He was going to die if he couldn't get food soon... very soon...
