    Avalon slowly fell asleep.


    Shadow spread his wings and flew into the everfree forest to the zebra's the only sound they heard was a slight ruffle in the leaves but to Crystal it would sound like a loud booming crash.

    Crystal awoke with a start. What was that? she thought but seeing how Avalon was still asleep she laid back down and drifted off to sleep again.

    Crystal woke up again, left a note where she slept, and went out side "What is Shadow doing?" she mumbled tired.

    Shadow laughed evilly again not knowing she was there "soon" he laughed "soon the elements of harmony will be mine" he paused "and the most valuable a new element...the element of love which that foolish zebra Avalon holds in his heart" he laughed "they will all be mine" he turned into a form that looked similar to Nightmare Moon only his eyes were a glowing yellow with golden wisps coming from them.

    "Dude What the Buck i mean what the actual BUCK you do know the elements are in the tree of harmony right?" Crystal said "And if you hurt Avalon I'll kill you. I love him so if you mess with him you mess with me." she kept her voice quiet as not to wake Avalon or Zecora.

    A growling noise came from in the woods "you remember how I got my cutie mark don't you? I chased changelings back into this forest?" He grinned

    "Yeah of course you saved my life." Crystal said "It was the first day i felt as though I could live in ponyville."

    He lifted his hoof and looked at the claws protruding from it. "I had another reason for chasing them away" he grinned. All of a sudden changelings came out of the forest and circled Shadow and Crystal one of them the queen stood beside Shadow.

    "Oh My Celestia." Crystal gasped "You, You......." she was shocked. Tears rolled down her cheeks.

    "It doesn't have to be this way Crystal" he stood infront of her "if you bring him to me I won't hurt you or anypony else" his voice turned eerily calm.

    "No never" Star whispered letting her tears hit the ground "Avalon run" it was still a whisper but she knew Avalon could tell.

    "He contains a new element!" He shouted knowing only she could hear him "with it I could give you all the power you could ever want!" His voice turned to a growl.

    "I don't want it, I just want to be happy with Avalon is that to much for you." her voice was a bit louder than it should have been. "Because apparently anypony being happy is to much for you huh? I mean are you bucking serious do you not bucking care about your family?"

    "I didn't choose to be this way!" His voice was now a harsh growl "I never wanted to be evil but because my mother is Princess Luna..." He paused "Night-Mare-Moon!" He roared "do I need to spell it out for you!?"

    "She was controlled by the nightmare forces which were expelled by aunt twilight and her friends." Crystal said as a matter of factly.
