He lowered his head "the only memory I have of Star is a song she sang one day when she was with her friends...getting ready for a dance at their school" he smiled slightly.

"That's a nice memory." Dawn said "Not every brother remembers those things."
-
"She's the reason I sing while I'm here...so I can remember her"
-
Dawn smiled "That's so sweet Tinker." She enjoyed talking to him when he was like this. "Your sister had the best brother ever."
-
He smiled slightly "I just wish I could see her again" he said
-
Dawn nodded Tinker's kind of cute when you think about it. she thought.
-
Guards came down and started pulling phillies and colts from their cages. He was saddned by the memory of his sister so he began to sing "what cause have I to feel glad? I've built my life on judgment and causing pain...I don't know who's eyes I see in the bloodstained chrome"
-
Dawn Gem grabbed her sister and they went to the back of the cage and Dawn began to repeat "Celestia save us." in a hushed whisper.
-
Trinket couldn't hear them back there "now everything that I've had and everything I've known have been thrown away and with time I've come to find this isn't my home". A guard came up to Trinket "shut it mule!" He yelled and reared up kicking Trinket in the face.
-
Dawn saw "Trinket." sh exclaimed not moving from where she was.
-
Trinket let out a painful sound then what sounded like an angered growl. He stood up and got in the other guards face yelling at him as blood dripped from where he had kicked him.
The other guard flattened his ears and whispered "gees Toxic what's gotten into you?"
-
Dawn Gem was horrified tears dripping from her eyes. Besides the black eye she was cute and terrified.
-
Trinket shook his head and looked at Dawn he breathed heavily and sat back down putting his hooves over his head "my mind is gone" he whispered
-
Dawn stayed where she was. She knew better than to do anything stupid.
-
Trinket will help us I know it. Dawn Gem's mind told her. She sat hoping that the guards would go away.
-
Trinket lowered his head. The factory seemed to become in sink sounding like a rythm to a song. Trinket started to sing "deep in the pages of history lies a shadow hiding in a mystery" he closed his eyes as he sang.
-
Dawn looked at Trinket with pleading eyes. Don't let me down Trinket you promised.
-
Trinket looked up as fast as it came the sun was setting. "I will take night shift!" Trinket yelled from were he sat. The guards nodded and went to their sleeping quarters.
-
Dawn Gem let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you Trinket." she said approaching the bars "But you need sleep at some point."
-
"I will...after we're out of this place" he whispered and smiled slightly.
