    [align=center][font=times new roman]Shadowcraft lifted his nose in the air - his sharp canine sense of smell told him that there was a squirrel a few feet away. The ranger padded cautiously forth, peering around a redwood. "Bingo." he yipped almost inaudibly. It sat on a root just ahead, oblivious to the nearby threat. Dropping into a crouch, the chimera slunk forward, his jaws slightly parted with anticipation. THUMP! He sprang, sailing through the air before landing on the small mammal's back, which snapped cleanly in two. "Ha." a triumphant Shadowcraft snatched up his catch and carried it back to where his patrol stood.

Of course, he remained stoic, but the Ranger gave Shadowcraft a nod before scenting the air. Finding prey in winter was always a good thing, hopefully it would be a reoccurring event.
