OddPaw didn't know which she liked less, the cold or the snow. She settled on the cold, for although the snow clung to her fur and chilled her to the bone, her white coat, which was fluffed up against the onslaught, blended perfectly with the wintery landscape. Pausing for a moment in her walk she tried to scent something- anything. The snow swirled about her, the wind tearing away any hope of scenting another cat. However, she knew they were there. Somewhere ahead, there would be cats, and for OddPaw, that was good enough.
Her eyes, one blue and one green, flashed in the paltry light that managed to filter through the clouds, whose dark underbellies hung above her. When she'd left WindClan and her siblings with only dreams and vague rumors to fuel her ambition, she hadn't imagined these sorts of hardships. But if she found what she was looking for, it would all be worth it. That though pushed OddPaw forward as she plunged through the snow. Suddenly, like her head breaking through water, OddPaw could smell cats. Picking up the pace she forged forward, and came upon a pair of cats faster than she would have believed. Taking a deep breath she stepped up to the two strangers.
