    sandkit faced darkpaw. ill show you she thought. you just wait. then she turned to deerkit "sorry." but her voice had no hint of apology in it.

    "I know you don't mean it but you should always apologize if you offend somecat."Darkpaw said.

    sandkits fur fluffs up with anger. why you ... then she pushed the thought away and got up to look for her mom

    "I'm sorry if I made you mad. I was just trying to help."he said.

    IC: Silverstripe looked to Darkpaw and saw all the sadness in his eyes. She tried to ignore it, because she knew there was nothing she could do.

    Bullkit stumbled after Sandkit, spitting at Deerkit and Icekit. He looked over at Darkpaw curiously, wondering why he was coming over here.

    Darkpaw walked over to his mentor with an even sader look on his face.

    Silverstripe looked at him curiously, and blinked affectionately. "Are you okay?" she mewed softly, wondering why Darkpaw was so sad all of a sudden.

    Bullkit grinned. "Iceshard!" he yipped, not thinking of Darkpaw. He flicked his tail at the handsome wiry white tom beside Silverstripe.

    sandkit looked up at iceshard "hes big ... that or im small" she laughed then yawned.

    He yawned as well, stretching his paws and flexing his short claws. "Maybe I'll get his big-ness!" he gloated. "He's also handsome. But I've already got that," he snickered, rolling on his back after his yawned and stretched. He was batting a fluttering butterfly.

    Silverstripe tilted her head and stated flatly, "No, you're not."

    Silverstripe looked at him straight in the eye. She knew he was right. Bowing her head, she murmured, "I know..." She then turned to look at Shinekit and Windkit with their dad, Iceshard. A small smile spread on her face, but it soon was swept away when she felt guilty for smiling when Darkpaw was so sad.

    Bullkit padded over to Sandkit. "You seem sad," he mused aloud.

    "i never even knew my father. he died before i was born." sandkit licked her paw

    Iceshard ignored the cat's argument, completely focused on Windkit and Shinekit as they came towards him. "That's right, darlings, come to daddy!"

    Windkit got mad at his father's paw and tried to swipe at it with a low growl.
