    Hello and welcome! If you're willing to Roleplay mermaid style, keep reading! There's a certain mystery at Juniper Lake, many boats and people have been lost in the water so nobody is brave enough to swim out to the center area. Residents have reported strange singing and figures in the lake. But there is only one rule here:

    This lake is a great spot for fishing and boating. It is home to many species of aquatic animals.

    Prolog


    Kendall sat out on the dock of Juniper Lake. His feet were dipping into the cold lake water on a foggy afternoon.Kendall looked up and out into the lake and saw something... A long fin? What could it be? A pearly silver tail rose and fell out if the water. Kendall rubbed his eyes, was he seeing right?

    Venus swam through the lake and under the Dock Kendall was sitting on. Her head rose out of the water, moss tangled in her hair. Venus stared at his feet and tried to decide wether to drown him or leave him.

    Kendall looked down at Venus in surprise. Ok what is going? he thought not entirely sure what to do. "Um hi there" he said. what is she and what is she planning to do? he thought.

    Time skip?


    Venus poked her head out of the water again, this time in front of the dock. She climbed onto the dock and watched the boy walk away. He seemed okay, not like the others...

    Venus waited impatiently under the dock. Why did she want this boy to come back? It really puzzled her. She decided to pull herself out to sit on the dock, her platinum tail thrashing as she tried to get a grip on the rotting boards.

    Kendall walked back to the dock. I wonder what was that thing that I saw a while ago. Maybe I can find out today he thought noticing Venus getting on the dock. "Hey need some help?" he asked.

    Venus looked up. It was that guy! She released herself but, she beached herself on the dock. Her platinum tail thrashed as she tried to launch herself back into the lake.

    Venus saw Kendall coming toward her and thrashed in attempt to get away. She instead turned herself over, revealing her platinum tail. She stopped thrashing, her skin was drying fast! Venus looked at Kendall. "Help-m-e." She managed to get out.

    She started reaching for the water. Her finger was almost touching it, her body gave in to the struggle and she became extremely weak. Her arm dangled off the rotting dock. Her pale blue eyes flashed a longing, I'm going to die... Venus tried to reach for Kendall's arm.

    Kendall grabbed onto her arm. I've just got to her into the lake or else she's dead he thought. "Ok We're going to jump into the lake" he said jumping into the water with her next to him.
