    DreamWorks Dragons: The New Generation
    Welcome to the island of Berk! Where the Hairy Hooligans reside!
    This is a roleplay set in time way after Hiccup and his relatives. You may only sign up to roleplay if you have seen 'How to Train Your Dragon' and you have watched some of the episodes of 'DreamWorks Dragons'(On Cartoon Network).

    Odd loved the way the wind caressed his body as he flew through the air. He could just drift away in the colden air, become one with the icy water and wind. Unlike most people he liked the cold, genuinely liked it. Not like other Vikings that braved the freezing temperatures, pretending that they weren't cold. They were cold. They didn't like the cold like Odd did. He was used to the cold since no one had ever shown him warmth.
    Except HydraWing.
    HydraWing, his only friend. And a dragon.
    Yes, his best friend was a dragon, a Scauldron to be exact. He liked her so much because she was just like him. A loner accustomed to the cold and water. They both loved water. For one thing HydraWing lived in the water most of the time. And Odd felt like he was capable of everything in the water.
    Odd was quite clumsy when not in the water, and so was HydraWing.
    So you could see why the would be best friends.


    Right now Odd was walking barefoot on top of the frozen shore of Berk, HydraWing swimming a little further away in a patch of melted water. The other Vikings were training in the Dragon Academy, but Odd didn't see the need to go. He already knew everything there was to know about dragons and riding them. And he didn't feel like dealing with his cousin's cockiness.



    *Jump in now people who have signed up! Preferably in the academy. I will then post Sylvia's POV along with Odd's again. I didn't feel like posting Sylvia's right now.*

    Shard grinned as he hopped onto his dragon, waiting for the rest of them to arrive. Phantom seemeed to smile up at shard as his trainer mounted the sadle on his back. He never minded humans, even when they tried to kill him.

    Sylvia walked into the training arena, looking proud and cocky as usual. Sugar Loaf came slowly flying in after her, the buzz of her small wings heard around the whole room.
    "I'm here!" Sylvia announced loudly. Looking around there was only Shard and Phantom. Oh, she sighed. She had wanted to make a big entrance.


    Odd scraped his toes over the ice shivering in delight. He slowly walked on the balls of his feet over the ice, he wasn't really scared of falling in if the ice broke, but didn't want to swim at the moment. He grinned at HydraWing showing her his impressive balance. "Pretty impressive considering how thin the ice is right-"
    Suddenly the ice broke and he splashed into the freezing water. Hydra made a noise that sounded like laughing and Odd laughed with her. He started wading towards the area of water she was in.

    Violetta flew down into the academy without Maya. Maya soon came running up behind her, though, gasping for breath and saying "Violetta... Stop... Flying... Away... I... Know... You... Love pranking... Me... But... You... Don't have to... Do it... Everyday..." She threw her copper colored braid back over her shoulder, finally having caught her breath.

    Sylvia looked over to Maya, finally someone else was here beside shard!
    "Hey Maya!" She said snootily, tossing her curls back.


    OOC:Maya seems like she wouldn't like Sylvia?

    Maya said, a bit stiffly "Oh, um, hi Sylvia." When Violetta realized Sylvia was there, she rattled her tail spikes a bit, being agitated by Sylvia's snooty tone.

    (Yeah, they seem very different, so differences don't always work well together.)

    OOC:Yea that was the idea I had in mind, and then maybe Maya could like Odd or Shard

    Sugar Loaf was just now getting to were Sylvia was, because she was such a slow flier. Sylvia looked at her annoyed, and Sugar Loaf glared.
    "Ok so before the rest of the guys get here, what do you two want to do?"


    Odd reached Hydra and he started stroking her neck and shoulder.
    "Hey girl, wanna take a fly?" HydraWing shook her head and dived under the water.
    "Alright, we can fly later since you wanna sw-" Suddenly he felt Hydra lifting him up from out of the water on her lower neck.
    A fly it is.

    Maya said "I'm pretty sure I forgot to feed Violetta this morning, and as you guys know, I can't just go off and feed her some random meat, it has to be bird meat." Just to prove it, Violetta's stomach rumbled loudly.

    "O-oh ok" Sylvia said in a low tone.
    "I guess I'll see you around," She said directed at both of them. Bummer, she wanted to practice more stunts.



    Water sprinkled up into the air as Hydra's massive wings lifted up out of the ocean. As she started to flap them the water started to go out in rough ripples, overtaking the shore. When she finally escalated a few feet over the water she started flying at a gradual pace, over the water, heading further out to sea. As they flew farther and farther they saw less ice, and better places to take a dive.
    "How about right here, girl?" They were circling the perfect place to take a deep-sea dive.
    Over the years Odd had learned to hold his breath for long periods of time. So he and HydraWing would take sea explorations almost every day.

    Maya said "C'mon Violetta, I'll race you!" Violetta took off into the air and Maya ran out of the training arena.

    Sylvia sighed and swung her leg over top of Sugar Loaf's back.
    "Wanna take a ride around the island?" Sugar made a gurgling noise in reply. She started flapping her small wings and they took flight.


    Odd took a couple of deep breaths, then Hydra dove into the water. As they entered the cold ocean he opened his eyes to take in the sight. At first it stung and irritated his eyes, but after awhile he got used to it.
    It was a beautiful sight to see. The other sea creatures lurking about, fish, shark, and even other Scauldrons. The ice had made the plants and sea floor look ghostly.
