A KIT FOUND OUTSIDE THE MEDICINE DEN MC/A NEEDED

    Harespring heard that mew and rushed towards the sound and found a kit and immediately picked her up and sat her down in the nest and treated her wounds.


    Flamefur, a queen that recently lost her kits, also heard it and ran to the medicine cat's den and laid down beside the kit and told her to start suckling.


    Darkfrost, Flamefur's mate ran after her and found the kit and licked her to keep her warm.

    Harespring said softly shuffling his paws in embarrassment,"Sorry it's just that this kit needed treatment and I was just trying to help her."


    Flamefur said softly licking the kit's cheek,"Yes little one mommy's here and she loves you very much and this is your papa Darkfrost he's a kind, loving, fun, caring father."


    Darkfrost purred and said,"She's right little Bluekit I love you and I'm going to take care of you with mommy okay?"

    The red tabby looked up from her nest, and her eyes flew open at the sight of so many cats inside the den. She wasn't anti-social that she didn't like the company but...well, damn where did all these cats come from? "What did I just wake up on?"

Didn't cats know that they shouldn't treat people without permission. Then, as the two started claiming they were the kitten's parents, he looked up at Timescale with confusion clear in his gaze. From what he gathered, Flamefur and Darkfrost weren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

    Flamefur looked at Timescale and walked up to him and said,"I think her mother abandoned her in front of the medicine cat's den so I'm making her think that her mother came back for her. Now do you see why I'm saying that I'm her mother Timescale?"


    Harespring said angrily,"I knew what exactly to do Timescale because I was first trained as a medicine cat apprentice before you were born but I changed my mind that I wanted to be a warrior."


    Darkfrost licked Bluekit's cheek lovingly.

    "Timescaley...they're scaring me." The little kit meowed. She could handle other cats around her, but these cats were just...she didn't know a polite word other than weird, in her eyes.

    "No you didn't," CHesspaw snapped bluntly to Harespring. She knew quite a bit of the history of the den and Harespring had never trained as a medic.

    "Harespring I want you out of the medicine den. Flamefur, Darkfrost, you may stay and the kit may as well. For now. After I do a quick check up, you'll have to leave." Timescale mewed, his tone sharp. He looked at Cakekit, "It's alright Cakekitty, they'll be leaving soon."

    Harespring looked at Chesspaw and said,"I was in here before both of you were born so don't you tell me that I wasn't a medicine cat apprentice got it? And if you don't believe me ask the leader."

    Chesspaw frowned then finally broke "Harespring you were never MCA of this den, so I am begging you to get out and stop lying to us"

    He told her to go ask the leader if he knows that he was a medicine cat apprentice and told her that the leader will say that he was.

    Cakekit narrowed her blue eyes at the liar cat, and growled. "Timescaley is the only medicine cat here. Austiny and Chesspaw are the only other two medical personel. Whatever you were in the past, which is really questionable at this point, you're not it now. Get. Out." It was rare to see the usually cheerful kit upset.

    He snorted and walked out and said,"Whatever that's why I quit because nobody takes you seriously when your a medicine cat."


    Darkfrost said softly,"Now cakekit that was sad all he was trying to do was help make sure that you were okay until Timescale got back. Now go and apologize NOW!!"And nudged her towards Harespring.


    Flamefur nuzzled Bluekit lovingly.
