The she wolf had been walking in the freezing cold for what seemed like hours by now. She'd been wondering why she was even on the planet as she made her way through the forest she called home. She sighed, still not coming up with any answer to her question as she came upon a small opening that allowed her to see the stars in the sky. She sat herself down in the middle of this clearing and gazed at the far away twinkling sky lights. The wolf still pondered on the question as she watched the unmoving dots above her. As she sat there she realized how tired she was from walking, and how cold it had gotten. She began to shiver so she laid down and curled up, giving the stars one last glance. "Why am I even on this earth?" she questioned out loud to nobody in particular. Still receiving no answer, she curled up, lying her tail over her nose. "Maybe I'll freeze to death..." she murmured before closing her eyes and drifting to sleep under the night sky/center]

  • Four black and white paws followed, he was swift and silent when stalking as he was doing now, his completely white eyes watched as he slowed to a stop behind a large oak that concealed most of his body. His nose quivered like it belonged to a rabbit as he stood still watching the sleeping wolf.

  • The she wolf slept on, undisturbed under the stars. As she laid there it seemed almost as if her blue coat was slightly glowing. It gave off no light, but looked as if it might shine in even the darkest of places.

  • Finally the black and white wolf crouched down as if to stalk and crept forward

  • The wolf continued to lay there before a sudden gust of cold wind blew over the clearing, making her curl up tighter into a ball. By now her entire muzzle was engulfed by the fluffiness of her tail.

  • Finally the tall wolf lifted up a paw and carefully touched her side before returning it to the cold ground

  • The female shifted. She lifted her head up, seeing the figure in front of her. She processed what she was looking at then hopped up, teeth bared.

  • The black and white figure backed away thpugh remained calm and silent, though his front paws pawed at the ground like an anxious horse.

  • The wolf looked at the other in front of her, watching him. She relaxed a bit a straightened up. She stayed quiet as she stared at the other.

  • He remained silent before turning around with his head lifted in the air and left

  • The she-wolf cocked her head as she watched him leave. Whenever he was out of her sight, she stepped forward. Sniffing the air, she began to follow him slowly.

  • The male wolf easily took long strides, weaving through the trees and his blank white eyes staring forward even though no wolf would even guess if he was looking at them from the corner of his eye

  • The female kept following him, picking up her pace to close the space between them a bit faster.

  • Finally he skidded to a stop before shoving his muzzle to the cold hard ground and pawed at it, revealing a dead squirrel. He looked around before grabbing it and began to move a bit faster then normal

  • The wolf sped up after him. She wanted to know what he'd wanted to wake her up for, so she continued after him.

  • The wolf continued in a straight line, the wind nor the cold ground seemed to bother him even though he did have a short coat of fur.

  • The she wolf picked up her pace even more. She was bounding after the wolf now, wanting to catch up to him.

  • He slowed to a stop allowing the other wolf to catch up to him before quickly turning around and pinning her to the ground. The black and wolf snarled finally showing emotion
