Aloe stuck a hoof into the air and had a determined gleam in her eye, the kind of look Rainbow Dash would get if somepony challenged her to a race, except a bit more... pink.

"If y'all say so." Applejack replied as she finally dipped into the mud. The thickness of the mud caused the orange coated mare to slowly slip into the tub. She tried her best to keep her mane from touching the mud, but could not help put let the tip of her ponytail slide into the thick substance. A relaxed sigh escaped Applejack's mouth as she rested her head on a conveniently placed towel.

"Umm... Is something supposed to be happening?" Nearby, Rainbow Dash was standing on top of another pit of mud, firmly planted on top instead of sinking in. "Yes, actually- I assume you're quite used to cloudwalking, correct?" "Of course!" "Well, you have to let go of that ability for a bit, or else the mud will just be solid ground to you." "Oh, so that's why I suck at swimming, okay..." With that, Rainbow Dash shifted out of her natural stance and instantly fell into the mud, sinking much quicker than Applejack. "GYAAaaah, now that feels weeeeiiiirrrd..."

{No, just that it makes sense that any pegasi would be able to, since most liquid substances, including mud, water, and muddy water, are quite a bit more dense than a cloud, and if pegasi can walk on clouds, the ability to go jesus mode on water and the like would be a given. Also, if you hadn't noticed, whenever a pegasus 'hits' a cloud, they react the same way they would if they ran into a this wall. I'm just drawing parallels, really.}

I couldn't really think of anything else to put, so I decided she is gonna lick the mud. If anything, my thought process is bizarre.IC: "It don't taste- Ah mean, feel any different from the mud of the fields." Applejack smoothly saved herself, several spitting sounds coming after her sentence. She wanted to wipe her tongue with her hooves, but she had already submerged all four of them. If she tried to clean her mouth now- well, it would end up not so clean. Resorting to more spitting, she soon got most of the taste out of her mouth.

Splashing around in the mud, she adjusted her seating to a more comfortable spot. After doing that, she glanced up at the wall clock. It had only been a few minutes since they got in. Letting out an irritated breath, she began thinking of something to say.

"Hey, I can't just do whatever I want with the weather. It's not that I control it, I just... keep it in check. Like, uh... wrangling, I guess." Rainbow Dash stirred an idle hoof in the mud, not really having anything else to talk about at the moment.
Another minute or so passed in silence. Eventually, Rainbow Dash felt it would be appropriate to speak again. Awkward day, awkward situation... Wouldn't be right if we didn't have an awkward convo', right? "So Applejack, I have a question..."

That was obviously not the complete question. Dash was holding something back, making Applejack more intrigued.

"Of course. Gotta get my daily dose, after all," Rainbow Dash joked in reply.
Eventually, the mud began to lose its warmth, but before the temperature could shift too dramatically, something shifted in the ground below and it started to drain. Before anypony could question what procedure was taking place or how it was possible, a sprinklerhead was turned on, showering both of the spagoers and helping to drain the remaining mud from both the tubs and their coats.

I am glad I added that to your arsenal.IC: Applejack let out a surprised yelp as the lukewarm water sprayed down onto her coat. After a few seconds of being soaked, most of the mud left her fur, leaving it the same bright orange color as before. The farm mare could already feel the glossiness of the mud on her coat as she spun around in the water. Once she had checked every spot on her body, she waited for the water to turn off.

And off it turned, just before the curtains lifted to reveal two familiar spa workers holding out matching white towels. "Did boss of you enjoy ze sreatmens?" Lotus asked, momentarily forgetting the whole accent issue.

Applejack understood half of the sentence, enough to actually answer it. "It was nice. Ah still don't see why you don't use regular mud instead of this fancy stuff." The mare noted, quickly jumping out of the tub and toward the owners holding the towels.
