    Featherstorm purred. "Come now then. We have more kits coming." she meowed when she saw Foxmoon and Shadetail. She passed by, and went out of camp, and found a patch of raspberry bushes.

    Featherstorm turned around, calmly. "The kit will survive. A quite long life she will have." she meowed. "Don't worry. I'll talk to Froststar." she meowed as she turned to pick the leaves. She signaled the kit when she had enough. She entered camp when she heard a wail in the nursery. It must be time! she thought. She ran to the nursery, looking at Spottedfall in relief. No kits were out. She came by the queen's side and chewed up the raspberry leaves.


    Spottedfall hit with sudden pain. She pushed, as she saw the first kit's head come out. She continued pushing until the kit came into the soft moss.


    Featherstorm gave the pulp to Spottedfall as she nipped the kitting sack. The first kit was a she kit, a beautiful silver tabby. She pushed the kit to Spottedfall, as the kit started to tuck in into Spottedfall's silky fur.


    Spottedfall sighed with relief. Yet, the pains returned. She swallowed the pulp, as the next kit came out. She pushed harder, the harder she pushed, the faster she will stop doing this. She pushed harder, and the next kit slid into the moss.


    Featherstorm was frustrated as the next kit came out. It was a tom, a golden furred kit. It was like a fire, blazing in the forest. She nipped the kitting sack off, and pushed the tiny tom to his mother's belly.


    Spottedfall was already getting tired. How many are there! StarClan... Help me... she prayed in her mind. She was pushing the next kit, slowly. The kit's head was poking out, and she pushed more, harder this time. The kit finally, sliding onto the moss.


    Featherstorm nipped the kitting sack again, and gave more pulp to Spottedfall. She licked until the kit yawned, and she pushed the tom to his mother. The black kit was yawning all the time, but she rather help it than let it die.


    Spottedfall felt the pains return, so she swallowed more of the pulp. The last kit came out, and when she saw it, it looked like her.


    Featherstorm did the same, looking at the she-kit's fur. She pushed the kit to her mother, and meowed, "That's the last one." She stepped outside where Shadetail and Foxmoon were. "Shadetail, come meet your kits." she meowed.
