    Appleheart looked at the flower pot, then the art, then the flower pot again.
    "Wow they look almost identical! How are you so good? I wish I was that good." She walked over to her painting and held it up. It looked like a bunch of colors splattered on the paper.
    "I don't think I'm getting a cutie mark in art."

    Lavender frowned.
    "Me either," she sighed.

    Appleheart never thought about that before.
    "I never thought about it like that."

    Dark shrugs a little. "You ponies see it everyday, so you know exactly what a pony looks like. If you saw your best friend with a slightly different mane color, what would you think?"

    Lavender laughed.
    "Sorry, I was just imagining Appleheart with a different mane. You're right, it does seem weird." She wrinkled her nose, but smiled at the same time.

    Lavender frowned.
    "I'm sorry.......changelings don't have cutie marks......do they?"

    "No... Um... We don't... But, I can... Give myself one..."


    (Or someone might be able to let him have one, maybe Zecora's daughter/son?)

    Lavender nodded and bit her lip.
    "Where do you guys want to go next?" She asked.

    Lavender shrugged.
    "Where?" She asked

    Lavender's eyes widened and she glanced at Appleheart.
    "Is it safe?" She asked worriedly.

    Appleheart was unsure. Would it be safe to go in the Everfree forest?
    "I think we should try! What if we are meant to have cutie marks in exploring? We need to try!"

    Lavender gulped.
    "Okay," she said, trying to sound confident

    Lavender sighed.
    "Nothing. I'm just a dumb scaredy pony," she mumbled, trotting unhappily towards the exit.

    Appleheart walked beside Lavender.
    "You're not dumb! Everyone has fears!"
