    Sonic pumped his fist. "Yeah! Now we're talking!" He offered a high-five to Silver, who slapped Sonic's hand with reluctance.


    Amy giggled

    Maria nodded slowly and looked back at everyone else, she wasn't particularly fond of Rouge calling Shadow 'Mopey', but decided to let it off and stay in Shadow's arms.

    Rouge raised her eyebrows at Amy. "What did I do now?" she asked sarcastically.


    Dehlia's ears lifted and she offered a halfhearted smile. "Thanks, Amy."


    Shadow's ears flattened in extreme annoyance. "Come on, let's go, if everybody's ready." He seemed really eager to leave. Who could blame him?


    Cyborg had been hanging back as well, feeling like she shouldn't be there, feeling like a meaningless extra in some or other movie that no one would ever care about or remember. She beeped loudly, looking rather anxious. Like Shadow, she really wanted to go, too.

    "No problem!" Amy smiled. "Let's just get out of here." With that, she swooped Dehlia up easily, considering her strength.

    Maria sighed slightly and nodded, she too was happy to be leaving after all that has happened today.

    " Sorry," Amy have a nervous giggle. "here we go!" with surprising agility , she leaped through the burned - through hole and landed on the top, Sonic and Silver foowing soon after. Silver was, of course, carefully navigating Shadonic through it as well.

    Maria held onto Shadow gently, her face once again buried within his chest fur.

    Shadow activated his Air shoes and began to skate, not seeming to even consider putting Maria down.


    Rouge landed and ran after him, content with keeping Mirage in her arms.


    Dehlia clung tightly to Amy, terrified. "I-It's okay!"


    Cyborg alighted on the roof of the spaceship with a metallic clang, then pursued her new friends.


    Simon watched them go, his ears lowering rather sadly. He gave a small wave, even though they were gone, then turned and ran off.

    Amy sprinted off. she wasn't exactly known for her speed, but she was fast enough to keep Sonic in her sights. She held Deblia close. "It's all right, I've got you!"

    Maria sighed as she turned her head, watching everything speed by and leave her vision, it was actually kinda pretty. Pretty in a way that you see the colors of everything fly past in a blur.

    Shadow slid down the side of the ship, Cyborg and Rouge following him. He landed softly on the roof of the hospital, then made his way to the trapdoor sort of thing.

    Sonic tripped over something. "Waagh!"


    Another voice let out a yelp as both figures collided and fell to the ground.


    "What is it with me and running into people today?" Sonic wondered aloud, then turned to the other person. "Sorry, uh..."


    The other Mobian was a sandy-colored lynx. She had short brown hair, but two bangs swept in front of her face. Large, blue eyes peeked out from beneath her hair. Her most interesting aspect, though, was that she only had one arm. "Aurora," She answered with a smile. "That's all right, though! I need to watch where I'm going."

    Shadow hated to, but he stopped. He looked at Aurora, then asked, "What are you doing up here? It's dangerous." He nodded to the purple spaceship (rather than the busy streets many, many stories off the side of the roof).


    Dehlia twitched her ears and managed to smirk. Oh, Sonic.


    Mirage probably wanted to say hi, but Rouge swooped down, opened the trapdoor, and slipped inside before the hedgeleon could utter a peep.

    Maria just nodded in agreement with Shadow, her arms gently wrapped around the hedgehog as she exaimened Aurora with a slight smiled and lightly waved to her, not wanting to be rude or anything.

    "Oh, I just live here," she answered with a giggle. "With my fruend. Say," she noticed all of a sudden. "You look awfully familiar."


    "Seen him on TV?" Sonic offered.


    "Havent watched TV in years," was the answer.

    Shadow's ears slowly slid back.


    He tilted his head and stared at her. Then his eyes suddenly widened -- flashing with recognition -- and he hurriedly averted his eyes.

    "Hm..." Aurora scratched her chin. "...oh well. It'll come to me eventually." She turned to the others. "Have you ever seen a wolf around? She's silver, got really loooong white hair, purple eyes. Usually wears a purple dress."


    "She just left," Amy said.


    "DANG IT, SPIRIT," Aurora growled. "Why do you always have to run off every time I get anywhere close to you?!"


    "You know Spirit?" Sonic asked curiously.
