Uruloki, a small island west of Ireland, has been inhabited by Draki and Uru for as long as anyone can remember. Within the last few thousand years the Draki have created a kingdom to unite their kind under one banner. This new nation, Peryador, made its home on the southern shores of Uruloki, and quickly prospered. There were several rebel bands of Draki who refuse to join the kingdom as well. Of course, they would have been granted their wishes and given their proper space had they not began to raid and pillage Peryadin villages and lands. The Uru chose to remain in their independent clans scattered across the island, but maintained a strong alliance with Peryador always.
Quite recently, not far from Uruloki the age of exploration was stirring in England, and men on great ships traveled far and thoroughly. Many trading ships had passed quite near before then, but the magic of the Uru kept the island hidden from human eyes. There came a time, though, that not even the most ravenous of storms or thickest of fogs would deter these men. A ship, headed by the explorer John Sutton, landed on the eastern shore. At first they assumed the island uninhabited by aught but birds and beasts.
That is until a scout sent west along the shore brought back other news. Towering spires and castles grand enough to rival that of the Queens! Intelligent and civilized people that seemed to make up a very wealthy kingdom. Sutton soon found himself meeting with Aran and Tari, King and Queen of the Draki. All was friendly until a servant in his second form flew in from a skylight in the high vaulted ceiling of the castle. The British men cursed the Draki, believing them devil spawn, and swore against them to cleanse the land of such an evil. Fast as they could, the men departed.
Fearing war, the King and Queen called for the first time for their people to come to arms and defend their nation. Weapons were forged anew, armor for all able to fight, and all in Peryador found themselves battle ready within three months.

Fiery
There is a blazing fire in her spirit, fueling her drive to be the best at whatever she does. It drove her straight to the top of her academics, her combative training, and the ranks of the royal guard.
Straightforward
Naithil is a no nonsense kind of a woman. If there is something to be said, she will say it. It was the one reason she never excelled in politics and found the guard to be better suited for her.
Strong
She had began training when she was sixteen. After four years she was appointed head of the Royal Guard and has been so for three years. Seven years total of her line of work has hardened her against all forms of pain: physical, mental, and emotion.

When she was very young, she, her mother and father lived in a small village near the northern reaches of Peryador. The village was quite near the territories where the rebels would occasionally pass through, but they'd always been able to fend for themselves. They lived peacefully, for the most part, and happily until Naithil was three years old. Then came a band of rouges, far larger than any ever seen in their village before. Within an hour, the whole town was in ashes and more than half its people dead or dying. Including her mother. With the village beyond repair, and memory too much to live with, Naithil and her father, along with the remaining people, packed what they had left and moved to a larger city nearer to the capitol. Her father found work in the guard and was soon making enough money to bring up their living standards. By the time she was eight, they were living well off in the middle class neighborhoods, and Naithil was enrolled in a school. Here she learned much that had once been hidden to her, and found her proficiency as a warrior. When she was sixteen she enlisted in the guard, just as her father had, and quickly rose through the ranks, landing her the position of Captain of the Guard, where she now resides.

✶Her weapon is a bow, she is pretty good at it. But she is better known as her healing abilities. Her medicine being her true weapon. Her bow's name is Aine, which is Irish and means radiant or Brilliant. She named it that after she made it when she was about 10. The bow seemed magical and so she picked out that unique name for it. ✶

Way Past That
✦Addy is quiet and suspicious. She only helps people if they are wounded. If people come to her for useless information or to ask questions she simply ignores them. She is a doctor not a spy. Although many think otherwise. She doesn't talk much unless words are needed and she normally does hand gestures or points to things as a way of communication. ✦
✦When she was younger her people thought she was a mute since they never heard her speak. Few people hear her beautiful yet soft voice. The King and Queen a acception. When she was about 7 she saw her mother horribly murdered by a monster of some kind. Now that she is older she knows it was simply by a Uru. A huge black dragon with blue tints that took her mothers life. The dragon nor her father ever told her why that had happened. Never explained what her mother had done to get herself attacked. But ever since then Addy has been quiet. ✦
✦Adalyn has a Father who is high up in the military. Her mother is dead, and she has a friend/brother that her dad adopted when she was 15. Her adopted brothers name is Maleris and he himself is quite the warrior, following in his fathers footsteps. ✦

✦She was a medicine Women before the war and now she a medic. healing wounded soldiers on the battlefield.✦

✦A rather large beautiful yellow dragon. She does not look like any other dragon. Instead of being reptile she is more bird like. Her wings have feathers like an eagle and less like a lizard. Her tail instead of being rigid and sharp is soft and made of feathers. She looks beautiful and peaceful. A true healer at heart. ✦
✶Adalyn can heal in her Draki form. Her mind actually forces wounds to close. Now she can't do it in a matter of seconds and she cannot heal missing limbs. She isn't a god. Just a great healer. Because she can heal she also regenerates pretty well. Her own body healing her subconsciously. She still needs herbs to heal and time. But other then that she is pretty amazing and magical. ✶

Like ice, Nix seems froze in time. Most of her personality seems frozen as well. Her facial expressions certainly are so. Of course its not for a lack of trying. She just finds it easier to remain blank. Labels aside, Nix is just, well....Nix. She just does what comes to her naturally.
Honest
The most foremost trait to Nix is her honesty. Nix lacks the filter between her mouth and brain that filters out the more rude things she says. As such she says what she thinks, pretty much when she thinks it. To her lying is just a waste of breath.

Observant
Nix is a very observant person. She sees most things around her that many others would over look or just not see. Because of this she is also very good at reading the body language of another person. This makes her a better fighter as well.

Passionate
Once you look past the somewhat cold extiror of Nix, you can find that she is very passionate. Anything she does, she gives it her all and does not stop until she reaches the end. She doesn't settle for doing something half way. Of course, finding something she's passionate about is very rare.

Cold
Pretty much everyone would describe Nix as cold. Nix finds this ironic. After growing up with little to no interaction with others, she had grown distant towards others and this makes her appear cold. Don't be fooled. Nix isn't as cold as she seems. Well...not always.

Loyal
Above everything else, Nix is loyal. She is a very fierce friend and extremely loyal to those she puts her trust in. There aren't very many people she does put her trust in, but she is forever loyal to those she does. There is no losing her loyalty once she's given it either. It may seem a bit foolish but that is Nix.

Nix grew up on a small farm a little ways out from her village. Her mother, a well liked woman, but one of poor health, died shortly after Nix turned four. To protect the only thing he had left, her father kept Nix on the farm, away from others where he could protect her. He raised his daughter to fight and defend herself and taught her how to use a glaive. Nix, with her sharp eyes and good aim, picked up how to use throwing knives as well. Despite this training, she never left the farm, except to go hunting with her father.
With her good aim with throwing knives, Nix became a good huntress and would bring in good kills which her father could skill and sell as meat or fur. That became her job on the farm until her father passed away and even afterward that was what she did to live. Since that was all she knew, when he passed away when she was ten, she stayed on the farm, caring for it and never leaving. So her interaction skills with others is almost nonexistant. For the last nine years Nix has not seen nor talked to another person, except for the man that she sells her kills too. That is until a carrier brought her the news of the summons by the King and Queen. Though she doesn't interact well with others, she's still determined to fight to protect the land her father and mother loved.
