history
In the beginning, there were six.
Elements, that is. They were Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Matter, and Magic. The Elements created the world and everything on it. And then they made a creature.
A creature of fur and claws. They called it a "cat". Of these cats, they created five Clans. They were MatterClan, WaterClan, AirClan, FlameClan, and EarthClan. Soon, a cat died. So the Elements made MagicClan, where the spirits of their lovely creation would go upon death.
The five Clans lived in peace, in one giant valley, big enough for them all. They believed the Elements and MagicClan watched over them, protecting them from harm.
They didn't know the Elements had done something wrong. They hadn't made MagicClan with pure hearts. One had gone rogue.
Matter. Matter had always been shifty, but to sabotage a whole Clan. He began a new Clan from MagicClan cats, and called it VendettaClan.
Over time, VendettaClan strengthened, until they decided to launch an attack on the five Clans. Not only on FlameClan, WaterClan, EarthClan, and AirClan, but on MatterClan too. And so the attack happened, and the Clans fell.
This was the end.
But there were twelve kittens left after the attack; twelve survivors. The Elements dragged themselves to these kits, including Matter, and each poured half of their elemental power into one of these kittens. And they grew.
KingdomClan was born.

KingdomClan lives in a large castle. It rests atop a mountain, right beside the cliff known as Sunset Cliff. Sunset Cliff faces the west, meaning you can see the sunset from it. Below the Castle is a valley. In the middle of the valley is Snake River, where the Clan fishes. A smaller "river" branches off it, called Silver Creek. Why? For the waters are a silver color at night. This is how they communicate with their ancestors. They will lay in Silver Creek, resting their head on the bank, and sleep.
The castle is made up of five towers and several large rooms. The king, queen, grand council, prince, and princess sleep in the center tower. The chimes, belles, knights, mothers, and kittens sleep in the second tower. In the third tower, the Elementals and the three sorts of mages sleep. In the fourth there are many rooms, and each one contains various treasure. And in the final, well, nobody knows. Below the castle is a large round room called the dungeon. This is where the prisoners sleep. Of the several rooms, there is the Dining Hall, an elongated room with a long wooden table and a broken stained glass ceiling. Around the table are many overturned wooden chairs, and at the table's center rests a golden candleholder.
The entrance is quite a spectacle. The river is flowing in front of the castle, and a rotting wooden drawbridge forming a proper entry. The gate is raised slightly, enough for a cat but not for a human. Beside the gate on either side, are beautiful carved serpents. They are made entirely out of emerald, except for the ruby eyes and tongues.
Tip is what they call the village in the valley, beside the river. There are many various dens, some crumbled, some with the roof falling in, and some standing strong. One beside Silver Creek is especially fortified, it's contents being random, colorful tonics and potions and herbs. When something bad happens to the Clan, the kittens, mothers, and chimes go into a large cellar-like area beneath one large, roomy den. Several shelves of dusty bottles make up the walls of this cellar.

clan code
• King's word is law unless all of the Grand Council agrees against it.
• Princess/es are only highly ranked until seven moons, after which they are considered regular.
• The whole Clan must have Clan names, though the king and queen may choose if they want only a one-word name.
• Kittens must be seven moons to become belles.
• Belles must have been trained for seven moons and have visited the Silver Creek.
• The Silver Creek is sacred.
• Any kittens with deformities are to be killed, made slaves, or exiled.
• The runt of the litter must stay a kitten until they grow to a size approved by the King.
• Any wrongs made towards KingdomClan will have their punishment.
• If a war comes between the Clans, KingdomClan shall not participate.
• Marriage must come before two creatures become mates.
• All must swear loyalty to KingdomClan before becoming a knight or mage.
• No one may touch anything from the Fourth Tower.

religion
Whether a creature is pro or anti depends on that creature. By this, KingdomClan is simply considered neutral. Though, if a battle were to come, the King would decide as to which side KingdomClan will join, though usually they'd just stay out of it. Mostly, they believe in StarClan or MagicClan, which is why they would most likely side with the Pro-Clans.

Giving Day
Near the end of leaf-bare, a day of peace comes. The whole Clan takes off, and it is a relaxing, happy, and peaceful day. As the sun sets, they all gather for a feast in the Dining Hall, filled with chatter, laughter, and squeals from playing kittens. Then, once the feast ends, they gather on Sunset Cliff and exchange gifts. Usually these gifts contain self-made tonics and potions and the occasional piece if treasure. After gift exchanging, the Clan sits vigil all night in silence to honor their ancestors.
Marriages
When two creatures want to become mates, they will usually go and ask the King for a blessing. If he does, this ceremony takes place. If he doesn't, they are forbidden from one another.
The ceremony itself takes place at Sunset Cliff. At the edge, the King and the new mates stand. The king will say the words necessary, and the two reply. Then they are officially mates.
Protection
Protection is what a belle must do to become a knight. They will spend a whole day in silence, guarding the castle from intruders. As the sun sets, they will be taken inside the castle, where their ceremony will take place.
Library
Library is a joyful time. At night, the Clan members who wish to hear the day's story will gather at the wooden table, an the king will sit upon it. He will tell the selected story, giving it a voice. Then, the gathered members have a time for sharing tongues, and then they will retreat to their den.
Cat's Tongue Scrolls
This is the one thing kings are allowed to touch from the Fourth Tower. It's a long roll of crumbling off-white leaf, bearing on it small symbols in black water. Black dots the floor around the scroll, as though it was messily done. Only the king and one to three creatures can know about it at a time. The symbols represent something only the king understands.
