A dark gray figure could be seen weaving between the tree trunks. Nowhere in particular, no final destination. Yet. Flintpaw was wandering around as she often did. But this time, it wasn't just something for her to do, a place for her to delve through thoughts. This time, she was waiting. A familiar strawberry wolf had asked for her presence in the woods. To meet her there. Flintpaw just had no idea where exactly inside the forest, so she was leisurely padding around. The student had no worries about why she was meeting up with Melody. The wolf had proven to be trustworthy so far. The answer would come in good time. She just had to find her first.

"Alright flintpaw stop chasing your tail." Melody'd voice called teasingly, hidden in the clearing. The sharp brambles had indeed detured the grey apprentice. Fantastic. Melody poped her head through the rather small entrance to the clearing. Both her and haku's fur was so thick the brambles didn't cut as they walked through the tiny hole. however, flint would probably have to crawl in to avoid a cut " Come on." Melody barked.
-
Flintpaw's ears lifted slightly at the noise pulsing though the frosty winterland silence. Relaxed blue eyes located the strawberry wolf, who was hidden behind a bramble bush or two. Quite painful, but Flintpaw then remembered the length of Melody's fur. A few pesky brambles would have trouble trying to pierce through that. As for herself, her own dark gray fur didn't stretch very far or provide much protection. The student didn't mind when it came to cold weather, but it would be better to avoid a few scratches. No need to bother the healer for disinfectant if she didn't have to get cut in the first place.
The student padded over across the thin layer of snow, feeling mild enjoyment as the snow freezed the pads of her paws and numbness slowly crept upwards. A sensation only found in winter, that is unless you lived higher up on the globe. Meaning either up in the mountains, or up North. The latter was the case of Flintpaw's birthclan. It had practically snowed year-round over there.
Spotting a tiny parting, Flintpaw glanced to the wolf to make sure that was the spot where she wanted her to 'come on' to.
-
Melody's head disappeared back into the clearing. there was a light layer of grass covering the ground here, and no snow was to be seen inside it. "Hurry up Haku." Melody barked, a deep male chuckle resonating from the clearing.
Melody had it all set up, for once. Every trap was set, and every weapon polished and ready to be shown off. The traps, only half of them visible, ranged from deadly to mildly irritating, and the weapons where on rather hastily made looking racks, and in boxes.
-
Watching Melody vanish, the dark gray feline started to pass through the clearing. She had to crouch down and army-crawl under the brambles in order to pass, but it was no big deal. Hearing the wolf's voice, Flintpaw heard her call an unfamiliar name. She looked around, but didn't spot another animal. Instead, she spot something else. Quite a few something else's. Hunks of twoleg silver. Complex contraptions that didn't exactly look friendly. Where had Melody found all of these? They reminded her of the tail armour she had seen Melody wear at the crafting session, but different shapes and sizes and probable different functions. But Flintpaw couldn't begin to guess what they were. She remain ed silent, taking it in. Remembering to keep an open mind.

"Hakuna don't scare her." Melody growled as the albino cheetah snuck up behind Flintpaw.
Haku sighed, leaping over Flintpaw's head to land next to the deep grey apprentice. "Hello Flintpaw." Haku purred, his tail curling up ove his head as he flicked it in greeting. His claws where incased in metal, and it dug into the ground with the lighted preasure. the clearing was dotted with tiny holes, showing where the fleetfooted tom had walked. they seemed to be connected with some sort of strap like glove that fit over his paw. "So what are we showing her first melly?" the white tom asked, tilting his head at her.
Melody rolled her eyes "Hes a bit stupid at times Flintpaw, but hes a pretty decent helper." Melody barked with glare at haku. "What do you wanna see first?" Melody asked.
