    Her fingers swiftly ran across the keyboard as she replied humorously,
    a bird! a plane! nope, just me.
    Of course it wasn't funny, that was just the kind of blank humor Penelope admired. Allowed a deep yawn to escape her lips, she clicked away from the page to type in the url, YouTube.com, in hopes that her favorite youtuber had posted another video. Clicking on her channel, xCuteMinty, she checked her subscription's latest videos, and luckily enough, PewDiePie had uploaded another one to his account. Quickly checking his upload feed, she read the title for a moment, curious.

    Maria sat on her computer, waiting for people to log in to the chat room. She was watching PewDiePie's latest video, pausing to check if somebody logged in. As Kyo did she smiled.

    Another chime sounded into her headphones, a bit startling as she froze up. Clicking onto her previously used tab, she read WhovianGirlMari's text. hey gurrrlll. lol pewds ish epic! was actually checking out his new vids just now She glanced at her username for a moment compared to her friends', deciding Maria's was much more creative than 'xCuteMinty'. She shrugged, then leaned over her bed to reach for her flavored water, taking a quick sip of it and twisting the lid back on, returning to her brightly shining screen.

    I sprinted in through the door, ignoring my dogs barking and parents complaining at the sudden rush of air, shut the door, and raninto the kitchen to drop off my grocery bags before heading upstairs. Mom had sent me to the grocery store to buy some stuff, obviously trying to push me to talk to some real people, but I didn't care. I'd gotten what she wanted, had minimal human contact, and gotten upstairs in less then 40 minutes. I opened my computer as I flopped down on my bed. I didn't even need to open my tabs, they were still open. I re-logged in to the chatroom and groaned at the amount of chat already up.
    DanielTheLadyKnight: Hey guys! Started the conversation without me? :(
    I sent it and went back to my tab where I had my story going on. I'd been working on this for most of the year. I had about sixty two thousand words so far, with a goal of two hundred fifty by next year. I'd probably lose about a hundred thousand just editing, though, so I felt like it was a good goal.

Or, at least, she saw the voice's owner; her mother impatiently stood at the door, arms crossed. omg brb She quickly typed into the chat room, lifting her laptop and placing it at the end of her feet, having to bend quite a bit, then pulled her headphones out.
