She sighed, she beach has become a normal spot for her to visit recently. It relaxed, like friend, helping her fill the gap of void she felt. No, it wasn't void, it was failure, uselessness unwanted. She'd felt this way sense being demoted from heir. She didn't feel good enough anymore. Then not long after her mother had thrown herself from the top of the lighthouse. Anima felt a wave of overwhelming guilt and shame. Her mother had been possessed or so she had been told after her death, but she couldn't help but feel like she had been demoted because of more then just the possession. Anima shook her head clear of those depressing thoughts. She closed her eyes. Listening to the ocean, and seagulls, the rustling of the tree behind her. She inhaled deeply taking in the salty smell. She'd come to enjoy the island the fish even started tasting good. She opened her eyes again. The ocean was a beautiful scene. She wished she could stay there forever. [/fancypost][/fancypost]

Gamma padded up to the beach, seeing anima and cocking his head, he hadn't seen another cat in a while. Not that he wanted to though, most times he met another cat they were incredibly hostile for no reason. "Maybe this one will be nice.." He said quietly, padding to the shore, staying about ten feet away from anima when he sat down so as to give her space.

Anima's ear twitched. She paw steps, then were coming closer but stopped a bit away. She turned to see what it was. She frowned, it was another cat. She sighed, her alone time was bound to come to an end. She looked more throughly at the gray cat. She hadn't seen him around before. Maybe he was new? In which case she should go introduce herself to him. She had a feeling that wasn't the case.
She got to her paws and padded over. Once she got closer she was almost certain that this cat wasn't from tidal clan.
"Hey there," Anima mewed curiously, "I don't think I've met you before. What's your name?"

It became very clear that gamma was in fact a loner. She, according to the rules, was either goning to have to chase him out or pffer him to join. Just for a moment though she didn't feel very much like part of a clan. She'd been to upset to even partake in the winter games. She just for once wanted to have a conversation with someone. She rarely got to talk to cats outside of the clan, with tidal clan being on an island and all. Besides, she hadn't been doing much. She had been do depressed to do anything at all. Anima sighed turning back to the gamma. "I've just. . ." She trailed off trying to find the right words, "I've got a lot too be sad about."
She didn't know if she wanted to tell gamma about what she'd been dealing with, it hurt a little bit too much. Maybe she would, but like he would want to listen to a useless she-cat like herself. He probably had better things to do like the rest of Tidalclan.

She sighed then continued, "A while back I used to be a Heir -A heir is like being second in command- but I got demoted, by my mother. All I ever wanted to do was make her proud. I feel like I failed her." She turned away from gamma "My mother died not long after. Well, she threw herself off the light house. I never got to talk to her about it. Later I was told that she had been possessed and that she wouldn't have demoted me otherwise. I don't believe that." Anima stopped. There was so much more, but she didn't really want to keep going

Anima shook her had, "Their are two leaders in tidal clan and they pick their own heirs, typically cats they trust. My father had already picked his own heir besides he hadn't know me very well and the new leader had cats she trusted more then myself. I don't blame them, its rare a ex-heir ever gets the position back." She explained. It wasn't the other cats fault, more of her mother's yet she felt unwanted, and useless any more.
