  • Astrid jumped up and grabbed a booth all to herself on the train, she wants to sleep in peace. She passed out as soon as she slumped into the seat.

Envy turned towards Lust. He simple raised his eyebrows and placed his chin into his hand. Nowadays life was slow for the palmtree headed homunculus. But he wasn't really in the mood for bad news.

  • -Riza Hawkeye-
"Reminds me of you," Riza said. "You always trained so hard when you were apprenticed to my father." Wow, Riza thought. What is going on with you today? You never talk about anything during or before Ishbal! She cleared her throat. "I mean, it was impressive. Inspiring, even."

    -Lust-
"Flame boy and his subordinates are on their way to South HQ, where an Ishbalan has lured him. She plans on killing him." Lust sighed. "He's an important candidate for sacrifice. We can't let her get to him before we do. Up for a trip to the South?"

Olive turned the rusty knob to the sink off, letting a few droplets of water exit it and run down the drain. She looked up at the foggy mirror, brushing her hair out of her dark brown eyes. Seriously, could a person be so awkward that they could never even talk correctly in front of someone? Usually, Oliver was at least able to communicate to people, though it may sometimes be a bit rushed. That was just shyness, really. But why couldn't she have just told Jean that she was going to talk to him about...paperclips...or something. Heck, she could've just shrugged it off like, "Eh, no big deal". But nooo. She had to go mumble and stutter and trip over herself as she ran away from him. Idiot.
"Train Number 53 deporting South City."
    "Oh my God."
Olive dashed out of bathroom, skidding around the corner. Sure enough, the large, black train was slowly chugging it's way out of the station.
"Wait! Wait!" The private waved her hands wildly over her head as she sprinted towards the train. She quickly matched it's speed, though it was getting quicker.
"What do you think you're doing?" A conductor, decked in his crisp uniform, leaned out of platform of the train.
"I'm...catching...my train!" Olive yelled, brandishing her ticket. The train was quickly nearing the exit way.
The conductor, holding onto his hat, shook his head.
"Sorry, girl! You'll have to catch the next train! There's no way we can-"
    "Gotcha!"
A hand suddenly grabbed onto Olive's, pulling her up into the air and gently setting her onto the train's platform. Jean Havoc's bright blue eyes twinkled as he ruffled her hair.
"Wouldn't want to loose a soldier before we even get to South City, right?"
Once again, the burning, gagging sensation arose in Olive, making her want to squeal and run away-no. No, she would not act like an idiot in front of Havoc again. Well, at least for today.
Seemingly, Olive let out a small sigh before smiling up at the lieutenant.
    "Thanks for that, Havoc!"
Jean's face suddenly turned into one of surprise before he smiled back at her, his unlit cigarette still in his mouth.
"Hey, no problem!" He grinned, opening up the compartment door. "I suppose we should head in. Wouldn't want Riza to think you're slacking, right?"

  • Sally walked onto the train slightly exhausted from her rushing, she let her bag on the ground next to her with the alchemist symbol facing outwards, she leaned back in her seat tired

  • Envy sighed, but at least they had something to do. "Can't those idiots just stay out of trouble! Well, at least we don't have to deal with the Fullmetal Pipsqueak this time around," Envy shook his head, but a sudden thought made a devious smile appear on his face. "I wonder what the hot head would think if he knew his best friends murderer is helping save his a**!" Envy chuckled. That job was especially fun, the look on Hughes' face when he shifted into his wife made it completely worth it all on its own!

  • -Riza Hawkeye-
Riza looked away from the window when Olive and Havoc walked into the room. "Privet. Lieutenant," she said, gesturing to the booth in front of her and the Colonel. "Want to sit down?"

    -Lust-
"You certainly have a knack for torturing people before you kill them," Lust sighed. "But you can't kill Fullmetal. He's a sacrifice, remember?"

"Sure, Hawkeye. I think I'm done standing for today..." Havoc slumped into the cushioned booth, sliding over so Olive could sit down as well.
After digging around in his pack for a bit, Jean triumphantly raised a lighter and clicked it a few times, finally giving his cigarette a light. After a few deep inhales, the lieutenant sighed and put the cigarette down, shaking it over an ash tray.
"Well, I believe I just rescued this private's life, Mustang. Does this mean I get a promotion?" He grinned, earning a laugh from Olive.
"Well, mine isn't too important," the girl smiled, crossing and uncrossing her legs. "I'll still have to repay you, though."
Havoc held up his hands, a few ashes from his cigarette dropping down onto the seat.
"Nah, no payment needed. Besides, what would I do without you?" Jean suddenly shut his mouth, going over his words. "I mean, ah..." He scratched the back of his neck, his eyes closed but smiling. "You do most of my paperwork, right? I wouldn't be working here if you hadn't filled out my monthly report!"

  • -Riza Hawkeye-
Riza laughed. "You, do paperwork? I'm pretty sure I'm the only one here who actually does that willingly."

Olive shrugged, smiling. Actually, Sheska did most of the paperwork, but Olive did Jean's from time to time. I mean, have you seen the effort Havoc puts into his monthly reports? One time, the paper only consisted of one page with the word, "No" written on it. Of course Olive took one for the team and did his paperwork.
"Eh, it's part of the job. Donkey work, really." She said, leaning back into the seat. No exaggeration on that. Literally, everything the privates did was the work that no one else wanted to do. It built morale, at least.

  • Envy slumped onto the balcony dramatically, "Don't remind me. It's hard enough having to keep him alive," straightening up, Envy smoothed down his skort and clasped his hands together, "Well what are we waiting for?"

  • -Riza Hawkeye-
Suddenly, the train was filled with the sounds of an argument. Riza recognized the voices immediately.
"Is that Ed?" she asked to no one in particular. She stood and opened the compartment door to find Ed and Al standing there, Ed yelling at a military officer.
"I'm telling you," Ed shouted, "I know the people in that car! I can go in! I'm a state alchemist!"
    "Listen kid, you-"
Riza cut the officer off. "Ed?" she said. "What are you doing here?"
"See?" Ed turned to the now-flustered officer. "I know them."
"I'm, uh, I'm terribly sorry, sir," the officer stammered.
Ed put his hands on his hips. "Huh."
"Want to come in, boys?" Riza asked. They nodded, and followed Riza into the compartment.
"Look who I found!" Riza said, sliding back into her seat next to the Colonel.

ooc: so my friend who was going to rp Al decided she didn't want to anymore cuz she's afraid she won't get on enough, so that spot's open if anyone wants it

  • Astrid's eyes popped open. She could recognize that voice anywhere. Silently she snuck up behind Ed as he talked with Riza. Being a full head taller than Ed, she liked to exploit her height when making Ed miserable. Astrid crossed her arms and leaned on Ed's head. "Hey pipsqueak! Long time no see!" Astrid smirked. Glancing to the side she sat a familiar suit of armor, "Hey Al!"

  • OOC:YAY! :3

Al walked in behind Ed and looked to Astrid "hey Astrid, how has it been going?" he said sticking by Ed's side and looked around "I suppose I can just sit down?" he asked looking around at the empty seats

  • Al nodded and sat down in the seat next to him "ok" then looked to Ed and nudged him "play nice" he said holding back a laugh
