Axel looked astonished for a moment and then let out a small purr and turned away. He wasn't sure how to handle stuff like this. This would be the first relationship he'd be in. "I-if you would like to be more.. that's fine by me," he said looking down at the pelt he sat on.

He smiled down at the ground. "Does that sound good to you?" he asked shyly.

He purred back and lay down on a pelt. "Now, then, how about that rest? Actually, I'm pretty tired myself. I'll just close my eyes for a bit and then pop back up to keep guard." He said while yawning tiredly. "You also can bring your pelt over here if you want."

"Oh... well it seems that you were busy while I was hunting, eh? Speaking of me hunting, how about you eat. I'll move my nest next to yours; mine is just a deer pelt anyways." he chuckled. He scooted his rabbit over and started to move his 'nest' closer to her nest.

The tom had soon pulled his nest beside her. The stars were just starting to come out and there was a peaceful look to everything. The rabid wolf was nowhere to be seen. "Tomorrow I'll have to take out the wolf..." Axel said quietly. "I can't have something that dangerous roaming the territory. Especially when you are here."

He laughed. "I won't get hurt. At least not badly I hope. It'll be fine. And if I don't catch it, it could wander in on both of us while we sleep and then we'd be really screwed. I should get while it isn't expecting me," he said. He nuzzled her back comfortingly.

"Of course I'll be careful. You'll see. Everything will turn out to be just fine," Axel purred. "I heal quickly anyways, so it should be ok even if I do get hurt badly." He flicked his ear nonchalantly and put his tail over hers.

Axel could tell she was worried, but he wasn't sure how worried. It should've been obvious, but he wasn't the sharpest when it came to love. "As I said, you needn't worry too much. Everything'll be a-ok. You'll see," he murmured softly. The dark grey tom stretched tiredly and looked at her with serious orange eyes. "Now, if I promise not to do something stupid, you have to too," Axel said seriously.

"Don't... don't do anything stupid. No noble sacrifices or anything like that, alright? If I do end up in trouble, don't throw yourself out there. Better one hurt cat than two right?" he said with a pained smile. "So, no heroic sacrifices, understood?"

Axel jumped back at the appearance of the unfamiliar tom. He forced his fur to stay flat and kept his voice calm. "You're here to help? he asked. "Also, we're not mates yet... but don't think to try anything," he growled. "And yes, there is a wolf on the territory. How long have you been listening in and where are you from?" Axel asked. He watched the other cat wearily. He wasn't looking for a fight, but he had to be careful. There were many dangerous rogues in this place.

"Yes I am" Deathfang mewed Im here to help kill the wolf from I have been laying here for about 6 minutes now. He let out an evil grin. "I am from Fangclan and I ran away from it in the heat of the battle of the clans." Now what about that wolf". Deathfang gave an very evil glance at the unfamiliar she-cat. Deathfang turned his gaze on axel and he mewed "Oh and my name is Deathfang."
