• Emberheart smiled. "Well, I'd better be off. I promised Orangepaw I'd take him hunting with Stonefur and Lightpaw today."

Stonefur padded into the apprentice den. "Lightpaw? You ready to go hunting?" he called.

The post was edited 1 time, last by Lieutenant Hawkeye ().

  • Lightpaw's tail shot straight in the air with excitement. "Yes!" She jumped out of the den, her tail waving happily. "Is it just us going?" She asked, smiling happily. She loved training; it was great fun.

Sparkpaw watched her friend leave, and then cleaned her whiskers. "I better be ready for when Ashclaw takes me out for training." She said to orangepaw, not really minding that he wasn't listening.

Hopepaw sighed, her face a mask of worry. "I'm not sure. It would make sense that Flamestar would be the cat we trust most," she said, and sucked in her breath carefully, before bursting out "But it could be apprentices or kits because we have to trust them to carry the future of our clan!" She burst out, trying to keep her voice down.

  • "No," Stonefur smiled. "We were going to train with Emberheart and Orangepaw today."

Just as he spoke, Emberheart padded into the den. "Ooh," she mewed. "It sure is full in here, isn't it?" She turned to Orangepaw. "Ready to go?"

  • (( OOC: Orangepaw is a tom >3>))

Orangepaw licked his chest heavily trying to flatten down a sticking up patch of fur, he had just woken up thanks to Emberheart and he wanted to look a bit neat since he would be on a hunting patrol.

  • Hopepaw blinked. "I keep getting dreams about first cats and betrayal..." She whispered, and shook her head slightly. "I've been thinking about it for a while, I guess. I'm trying to be open minded." She said, but felt warmed by her mentors praise.

Lightpaw nodded, and waited patiently for her denmate, her soft ginger fur ruffled slightly as the gentle breeze disturbed the fur on her hackles.

Sparkpaw waved her tail at them. "Bring back something nice to eat!" She called, licking her paw. She wondered if her and Ashclaw would do battle training.

  • ooc: whoops sorry >_<

ic: "Alright. Let's go then!" Emberheart and Stonefur turned and padded out of the camp and onto the rocky volcano. Stopping for a moment to make sure their apprentices were following them, they bounded into the dark forest at the base of the mountain. Soon, they reached an open clearing in the woods, perfect for hunting. "Alright," Emberheart mewed. "Who wants to go first?"

  • (( OOC: It's fine no worries ))

Orangepaw scrambled to follow Emberheart at his mentor let's go, he quickly stuck with the other apprentice side following his mentor before he sighed lightly at entering the forest, "I can?" He replied flicking his tail.

  • Lightpaw sprung after them, her small paws picking a quick route through the rocks and undergrowth. On reaching the clearing, she waved her tail. "Oh, me!" She called, feeling excited. She could show the deputy just what a great Hunter she was going to be.

  • Flamestar surveyed her clan, and started to have second thoughts. Should she really betray them? She shook her head, of course she would betray them! She's spent most of her life planning this she can't turn back now. Only the strong can survive. EmberClan has become corrupted by the weak. The strong will join her, and thise who stay will be eradicated. Only those who deserve it shall inherit this land, and if it takes bloodshed, so be it. Flamestar sighed and padded over to the freshkill pile. She would have to go hunting later to keep up her mask of loyalty.

As Flamestar settled down with her meal, she watched Ashclaw slink out of the warriors den and make his way toward his apprentice, Sparkpaw. Ashclaw is a good friend of hers, so Flamestar believes that he will join her and the rogues. He isn't dumb, he would know it would be suicide to stay with Emberclan. She sighed, she would not be able to show the clan members who stay no mercy. She would have to kill old friends and allies, but she was prepared. Her revolution would happen, if it takes bloodshed, so be it.

Ashclaw made his way out of the warriors den. The cave was alive with activity as the clan went through its day. He stretched and began to make his way over to his apprentice Sparkpaw. Ashclaw would have to take Sparkpaw on patrol with him. A disturbing number of rogies have been spotted just outside their borders.

"Hey, Sparkpaw! We should probably go on a patrol, we need to check the borders," he meowed to his apprentice.

ooc- Hey everyone im sory for not posting sooner but my wifi was acting up and ive been kind of busy, but your leader is here! Welcome to Emberclan everyone! I am its co owner. I will post as much as possible

  • ooh: You're in! Thanks for joining. Who do you want to be your mentor?

ic: "Orangepaw said it first," Emberheart mewed. "Why don't we let him go." She turned to her apprentice. "Go ahead as soon as you see something," she told him.

Stonefur turned to his apprentice. "Lighpaw, why don't we wait over here where we're out of the way," he said, and walked over to the edge of the clearing.

  • Orangepaw flicked his tail in a small victory at getting to hunt first though he grumbled to himself that he could mess up now and make a fool of himself though he sniffed the air for any scent of prey and he dropped down into a hunters crouch at the scent belonging to a mouse. He stalked forward quietly entering the forest and stepping gently as he got closer to the mouse, Orangepaw froze at seeing the brown mouse nibbling on a seed; not facing him and with no wind he lunged forward crashing his weight down on his prey and nipping its neck to kill it, he purred steadily trotting back to the clearing dropping his mouse near Emberheart.

  • "Good job!" Emberheart mewed, and flicked her tail fondly along her apprentice's flank. "And now that you've caught the prey, what do we do with it?"

  • "Bury it or cover it up.." Orangepaw replied flicking his tail a bit before he paused, "And.. um..thank StarClan for giving us the mouse?" He suggested in a slight question his left ear flicking backwards a bit.

  • Lightpaw flicked her tail in dismissal, watching orangepaw. His technique was good, and he knew what he was doing. She guessed that it would be her turn next, so carefully began to scent, though still listening to orangepaw emberheart and her mentor.

Sparkpaw nodded. "Ok!" She called, walking out of the den. "Who'll be coming with us?" She asked, twitching a ginger ear.

Hopepaw came over. "Do you mind if I join you for a bit? There's a few herbs I want to stock up on." She said, her face still a bit worry wracked from her thoughts on the prophecy.
