Immortal Ash Boarding School at first was only for vampires, but hundreds of years later the school opened their doors to most creatures. Like werewolves, witches, demons, and even humans. The head master worried that the multiple species would cause problems and that a war of the races would emerge inside the walls. Will the head master's worries be correct?

I walk up to the school, dark rain clouds gathering above my head. I blow a strand of curly red hair from my face as I roll my suitcase into the boarding school.
"Another year." I think, my brown gaze flickering around, "Another school."
However, I knew this wasn't a normal school. This was a boarding school for all mystical creatures, like werewolves, vampires, demons, and witches. But I was human... and they also allow that. I check in with the dorm adviser who has honey blonde hair and sparkling green eyes. I would of assumed she was human if it weren't for her eyes flashing red at the sight of me. I quickly hurry to my room and shut the door behind.

I walk up to the doors of the school and look up at it. I was thinking that this year would be the same as always, except they opened it up to all kinds of creatures. I wondered what would happen because of this. It was going to be an interesting school year. I carried my suitcase up the steps and walked into the school. I go up to my dorm advisor, getting the information on which room I would be in. I go up to my room and set my suitcase down, looking around. Maybe I should go introduce myself and meet some new people...

  • James races pat them both, his silver fur blowing in his quick pace. The werewolf leaps up the stairs, blasting through the doors, His white fox races after him, barking. He take the form of his human and the fox leaps up to sit on his shoulders. She lays down on his shoulder, her black tipped tail swishing. He scratches her ears and she leans into his hand.

  • Katrina gripped her purse and suitcase as she stared up at the massive school. She wondered what the school would be like now that it was open to all creatures. She opened the door and winced as it creaked. She slipped inside to go find her dorm.

Damien walked the halls of his new boarding school. Was it wise to have transferred him here? Truthfully, there wasn't much choice. They had said the other children here had "gifts" like his, and that they were going to learn to work together for the betterment of humanity. That all sounded good. Damien pulled up the hood of his long black jacket and adjusted the bag on his shoulder. No, it wasn't raining outside. Yes, he probably looked like a dork.
But it didn't matter. He had two years to go, one extra for being held back. All he had to do was stay alive, and stay hidden. Damien clenched a fist. His heart still bled at the though of Kennith's violent murder. He had been so naive to extend any trust to that blood-sucking species, the vampires. When he finally ran to the scene of the crime, he saw the boy, dead on the ground in a pool of red, the culprit still standing over him. Damien had went into a rage and without thinking did something he didn't even think was possible with his magic. He tore that vampire's very soul out of his corpse and flung it so deep into the earth, the fiend would hopefully never find his way back. Just the memory of it: seeing a friend dead, and then the rush of all that magic at once was life-changing. Had the vampire been human, he'd certainly have died. Damien would have killed somebody, and that thought did not set right with the Christian youth. Instead however, the soulless body merely slumped to the floor, still "alive," but not conscious. Damien heard they were keeping it in a hospital somewhere, presumably in a coma. Part of him wished he had beheaded the monster, but even then, he knew he'd be sick with regret. He had enough to deal with from grief alone.
He unclenched his fist and tried to look normal. This was his class. He looked up at all the young, presumably innocent, faces staring back at him. Some of these kids were vampires. He knew it. Well, if that murderer ever found his way out of the core of the earth and back to his body, at least he would never think to look for Damien in a place like this. Murderous immortal vampires probably weren't forgiving.

    Neither was Damien.

  • James grabs his suit case, and get to his dorm room, unluckily, he had to share it, the usual dorm room. He groans at the thought of sharing it with a vampire. Ethriel makes a barking sound, he looks at the fox tht sat at his shoulder. "Don't look at me like that, I know you don't mind vampires. But you also know that I can't live with one". He crosses his arms at the vixen who nips at his ear, "ow"! He slaps the fox off of his shoulder and he leaps onto the bed, sitting on his pillow.

  • It looked like there were still a number of empty seats in class yet. The black-haired man started copying what was on the board for notes.

  • He sticks his tongue out at Ethriel, the fox grins at him and leaps back on hi shoulder. They head to class, the fox leaping to balance on his head. He enters class with the fox's front paws on his head. The teacher frowns at him, but says nothing. He growls at the teacher, daring the vampire to insult him.

I glance at the clock. Class is probably about to start. I open the window to let my falcon, Phoebe in and then close it. I grab the books I need for that class and hurry down to it. The teacher probably won't count me as late since it's the first day. I go into the classroom seeing a few people there and sit down.

  • Smells surround him, mostly vampire, the wolf gags and Ethriel smacks him with her fluffy white and black tail. "Go eat a rat". He snaps at the fox, who makes a snickering noise and nips his ear again. He growls at her, but it just makes her nip at his neck angrily. The two bickered like siblings, quietly.

  • Katrina found her dorm and set her belongings down. She glanced up at the clock on the wall, class started in a few minutes. She smoothed her hair and hurried down the staircase to go to class. She slipped into her seat just before the bell rang. She sighed and pulled out her books.

  • Jam es pulls out his books, letting out a quiet yelp as his fox snaps at his ear and yanks on it, "Ethriel you bastard! That hurt"! The vixen rolls her eyes and lays down on his shoulder.

I take my books out of my bag and set them down down on the desk. I look over at the boy with the fox on his shoulder. That's an interesting choice for a pet, I thought to myself.

  • The fox turns, meeting her gaze with odd silver eyes, it seems to smile devilishly at her then turns back to James, "Ethriel, that hurts stop"! He hisses at the vixen who was clawing at his shoulder, she murmurs a series of hisses and clicks into his ear and he stiffens. The fox raises an eyebrow at her werewolf master and snickers. Casting a wary glance at the back row again before laying down again, submitting to Jame's petting.

  • Damien made a point to sit toward the back of the room, completely with the intention of having sight of everyone else. The boy with the fox certainly was odd. He glanced at Lillian and Katrina, and a thought struck him. How was it even possible that these supernatural freaks, even vampires who could be out feeding like wild animals, would be sitting in class so obediently? Did they all grow up like this? And the better questions was, how long would this brainwashing of 'peace' last for a being who could live for thousands of years. Damien knew one thing for sure; he wasn't going to live long enough to see what would happen. He could however.. look into the past.

Too bad this was math class.

Immediately then, he decided to change his major to history.

  • Katrina tapped her fingers on her desk and sighed. She didn't know school could be this boring. Anyway if the school was for all the supernatural why couldn't they do this things like obstacle courses or races? Anything other then sitting in class watching the teacher scribble on a whiteboard. Katrina returned her attention to the front of the classroom wondering what they were doing in class today. She was tempted to just walk out of class and go for a run in the woods, but no she had to stay in school. She knew she could't disappoint her aunt who was very strict about education.

  • The fox pins it's ears before leaping off of James's soulder, leaping from desk to desk, startling a few humans and such, the fox snickers as she scatters some empty desks. The teacher lets out a snarl, but that only causes the fox to continue her demelition. She leaps out of the window and into the lawn. James sinks down in his seat, his face bright red. But the teacher turns approaches him. Eyes blazing, "how dare you interrupt class like that"! James growls lowly, his hair at a bristle, his lips pulled back in a vicious snarl.

I get up and go over to the boy and the teacher. I look up at the teacher. "I'm sure it was just a mistake. Since he's new to the school he probably doesn't know that we shouldn't bring pets to class. Please don't hold it against him," I told the teacher. I hoped the argument could cool down before a fight broke out.

  • He turns to her, and shudders, another vampire, great! His eyes were a deep golden and he rumbles, the teacher backs down, avoiding a fight, for now. James glares, "I know that I'm not allowed to bring pets, try telling that to Ethriel".
