Scarletfox padded through the opening that the trees that dipped down to touch the sunlit ground had to offer. She smiled pleasantly as she followed the paw-steps of her mate that had just recently traveled the exact same path as she was. He was way off in the distance, but the only thing that she could see was a tail waving back and forth, no noise. She skipped across the water lapping stones and through the multicolored leaves that lay flat on the cool, hard flatted ground. She was planning on scaring her mate. Sneaking up behind him and then leaping on him. She knew that he wouldn't mind. Even though he was leader of their Clan, he still had some life left in him. Miststar, Scarletfox's mate, leader of the great Clan of SmokeClan, about to be the father of three kits, had just as much life left as a new born puppy wrestling with it's kin.
Scarletfox thought about what his expression might look like when she surprised him. Would it be surprised? Maybe expecting it from her a little. She'd done it to him so many times in the past that it probably was no surprse anymore to him. She now started to jog behind Miststar. She kept low to the ground to make sure that he wouldn't see her before hand. When she was about a few feet away, she noticed that Miststar was not alone. Moonflower, a queen of the Clan with two kits of her own already, licking Miststar's face and he to her. Scarletfox's heart dropped and shatter to pieces. Her eyes clouded and she was ready to leap onto Miststar with unsheathed claws and tear him to shreds when Moonflower started to turn around. Before Moonflower could get a glimpse of her, Scarletfox dashed off into the bushes to spy.
Through the bushes where she lay, Scarletfox watched as Moonflower turned to face Miststar head on. Miststar gave Moonflower one last kiss and then mewed.

"How are my little kits doing?" he asked her.
"Oh, they are so big and strong! They remind me of you. Little Twinkit looks identical to you!" Moonflower mewed.
"That's not a good thing, Moonflower." Miststar frowned. "Scarletfox might.."
"Oh to the Dark Forest with Scarletfox, she's just your puppet right? She's to make the family grow larger and then you are to dump her, take her kits and run off with me, Twinkit and Featherkit, right? Those were our plans, were they not?" Moonflower pushed aside. Miststar nodded uncomfortably, that is almost made Scarletfox think that Moonflower was making him do this. Scarletfox had more sense than that.
"I don;t want to hurt her feelings.." Miststar started to say, but then stopped seeing the look on Moonflower's face.
"When we are off by ourselves, you won't need to worry about that she-cat any longer, it'll just be you, me and all your kits!" Moonflower laughed.
"But it doesn't seem right, Moon." he mewed. "Maybe I should tell her..."
"You tell her, I kill her! You understand me, Misty?" Moonflower snapped.
Miststar nodded quickly and then turned around to see Scarletfox leap at him with unsheathed claws pointed at his chest.
"You dirty fox-heart!" Scarletfox yowled angrily. Miststar tried to fight her off, but before he could do it, Scarletfox managed to dig into his chest and stab his heart, causing Miststar to fall limp and trembling, losing his fifth life. Once Miststar was down on the ground, Scarletfox turned to Moonflower and rasped, "Well, I guess you'll have to kill me now that I know...or wait..Nah, I'll kill you instead." She flew at the queen and without question, immediately stabbed her in the eyes, letting Moonflower scream for help and with agony, then fall to the ground, blind as a bat. Moonflower shook uncontrollably and then mewed in a helpless tone.

"You didn't kill me." she mewed.

"No. I consisted that a cat like you should live through a life without light, so that when you go to the Dark Forest, you won't have to adjust to the darkness there." she hissed walking over to Moonflower. "Also, you're life will be nothing but pain and suffering from here on out. You'll flee from SmokeClan, leaving Featherkit and Twinkit with me, telling the Clan that you stole the kits from me when I first started kitting. You'll leave the territory and never return. You'll probably have to go farther from the Clan's territory to make sure that we never see you again, with that, you'll be chased by Fangclaw and Jayscar." Scarletfox explained, picking at her claws. Moonflower whimpered and then started to beg for another chance, but Scarletfox ran her claws against the she-cat's face once more and spat in her face, to reply. Beside them, Miststar was now regaining his life again and getting to his paws. He looked at Scarletfox and then at the bleeding Moonflower.

"Scarletfox, I-I don't know what to say.." Miststar mewed looking into the she-cat's clouded eyes.

"Well for starters, you can thank me for giving you a second chance at this whole 'relationship' bis and then banish Moonflower from the Clan so that you have no temptations in doing this again. After you do all of that, you'll then move the Clan out of this StarClan forbidden forest for good and then you may apologize to me for your mistake!" Scarletfox ordered him. Without question, Miststar stood up straight and then walked over to Scarletfox's side, licking her face for forgiveness. He then looked down upon Moonflower and mewed.

"You will follow us back to camp where you will be banished in front of all the cats of the Clan, including Twinkit and Featherkit." he growled.
"But they are only kits!" Moonflower begged.

"And they shall learn that their mother was faulty and that Scarletfox is the real mother." Miststar mewed proudly, but a little on the edge. Moonflower sudden found no use in arguing with the two cats and then bowed her head to receive her punishment. Scarletfox looked at Miststar and then at Moonflower and mewed.

"This is only the beginning."
