Lucian glanced down at her as he carried her into the room, thinking, She must be exhausted.. He almost felt reluctant to wake her up, considering she did seem content with doing so, but the thought of actually changing her while she was asleep... well he didn't want anything to provoke a sudden switch in his two sides, plus as he said before his nighttime side is very unpredictable, it was hard to keep control and use logic with that side anyways, too stubborn. Putting her down on the bed, he gently touched her forehead to check her temperature for a few seconds then he said in a gentle voice as he tried to wake her up, saying her name in a gentle tone, although seeing Alice naked twice was a stunning fact, at the moment he pushed that aside and focused entirely on if she was ok.

Alice contently slept in his arms, feeling peace. when he set her down she took a deep breath but was still asleep like a baby. she felt something cool in her forehead and let out a tiny smile and stirred a bit. she didn't wake up while he tried but she did make an annoyed face and moaned, trying to make him stop unconsciously. she was very tired and exhausted and all she wanted was to sleep. she once again stirred in the bed, feeling a bit uncomfortable in a towel. she made a frown and mumbled "Lucian...." and then her mad face went away. she was dreaming that he was making her sleep on a towel, a crazy dream that would never happen most likely

Lucian looked down at her, throughly exasperated. Once again, he attempted to wake her up now saying her name a little bit louder, "Alice... Alice?" He was curious as to what she was dreaming about since she had said his name in her sleep. But, he held down the curiousity as he proceeded to try and wake her up.

Alice was a bit of a heavy sleeper when she was sick and she also usually was bratty. she made an annoyed face and kicked around and whined "stop it...." she complained, now half awake. her dream went away and now she felt like someone was trying to make her do something she didn't want to so she was upset. she was to tired to get up so she continued fighting to stay asleep. she was so focused on it she was dreaming that Lucian was keeping her from going to her bed. "stop it Lucian....i wanna sleep" she mumbled, seeming that she was half awake but it was her words in her dream

A small smile flickered across his face as he couldn't help but be amused. He tried reaching out to his other side for help but it simply seemed to respond back as, ...Why should I help? Annoyed faintly, he frowned as now she was half awake. Not knowing particularly what to do, he reached once again to the other side who responded once again in a grumpy, snippy answer. Of course he realized the other side wasn't used to being summoned so early, but he didn't quite know what to do at the moment to wake her up. After a few moments of prodding and annoying the other side for a few long moments it finally gave in, although fairly annoyed. As the shift between the two sidess briefly transferred, Lucian's now gleaming eyes, bright with annoyance looked down at Alice. An annoyed scowl was on his face as he muttered, "Summoned me for this?" He sighed, "But, I suppose I'd better make the best of it." He tilted his head for a few seconds, pondering what he could do, then finally he began to persistantly poke her, "Alice, wake up, now." His voice had a sharp and annoyed and irritated tint to it, clearly he wasn't pleased, but was pleased enough to actually try to do anything about it. But his gaze did linger on the towel, fairly aware that she was naked, but he didn't do anything about it, since clearly feeling the daylight side's presence hovering over every action he did, it was very annoying.

Alice didn't react to him as he tried to wake her up. she continued being bratty and trying to make him leave her alone. though once she heard the sharper tone she stopped moving. in her dream she saw both lucians in two different bodies, looking the same. she didn't move as she imagined the scary one giving her a mean gaze to calm down so she did but didn't get up. "s-sorry" she mumbled, still asleep. her facial expression was the face of a child when they knew their parents were going to scold them.

Lucian sighed, slightly irritated still but the irritation had managed to calm down as he saw the facial expression she had made. Reaching out his hand, he gently caressed her cheek, his gaze soft for a few moments, then after a few moments, amused now as he tilted his head slightly, intrigued for a few seconds. Then he sat down on the other side of the bed, and muttered, "I suppose I might as well wait for you to wake up."

Alice as asleep for a while longer till she finally began to wake up. She looked at him wishe sleepy eyes and she couldn't think straight so sat up and hugged him and leaned on him, wanting him to hold her

IC: Lucian was staring idily at the wall and was somewhat dozing when he was suddenly startled to feel Alice hug him. He was silent and unmoving for a few moments, of course he didn't know how to react, considering she was half-asleep he supposed she wasn't really thinking about her actions... but his gaze turned on her, but even so he gave into her demands without hesitation and gently held her close to him, but he kept extreme control of his actions. A small smirk crossed his face as he kissed her forehead, "Hmm, still sleepy?" He distracted his straying thoughts to the sweet smell of her sscent... though those unwelcome thoughts still clouded his mind occasionally. -
Alice hung on to him tightly and was very happy once he hugged her back. She then blushed a bit when he kissed her forehead and smiled a little. She was silent as he asked her the question and looked up to him and gave a tiny faint smile "yeah I'm very tired right now" she said as he continued leaning on him

He raised an eyebrow then after a few moments he slowly let go of her, he didn't say anything then he stood. His gleaming blue gaze was almost close to becoming cold icy blue, and as he stared at her for a few moments, the answer he said was extremely blunt, "Alice, I do suggest you put some clothes on." He seemed almost uncomfortable, anxious really of his reactions around her, but that familiar smirk crossed his face, "I mean, it is just suggestion of course." But, he couldn't say he wasn't amused, frankly this was very amusing to him, though he kept this emotion to himself as he watched her face, and he slightly felt guilty how quickly he moved away from her and now was out of arm's reach, but odd;y he felt like he couldn't trust himself... assuming that his daylight side was fueling most of these emotions.

Lucian was somewhat surprised at her reaction, blocking the pillow as it neared him. He sighed, "Alright, fine," He moved closer to her and sat down beside her, pulled her close to him as he gently held her close. This was very... strange how she was reacting, but actually he didn't mind much. He said, "Well, I'm sorry for pushing you away." A small smile managed to cross his face as he looked down at her.

Alice looked at him as he came closer and puled her in. her cheeks were pink but she smiled, not acting super shy like she usually is when she is fully conscious of her actions. she closed her eyes and felt triumphant as she moved a bit in his arms to get comfortable. she looked up at him and smiled, "i like it when you hold me..." she said shyly though not so much, "thats why i feel sad when you put distance between us......make me feel like you aren't attracted to me" she mumbled sadly

One of his hands came up to her cheek, but he said in a controlled tone, "But, you should already know I have to be careful," A wicked grin crossed his face, "Especially now, but I just don't want you to get hurt."

Alice looked at him and felt butterflies as he said he was attracted to her and she felt happy. She smiled as he placed a hand on her cheek but it went away as he said that she knew he needed to be carful though she didn't know why. She looked him in the eye as he grinned but did r understand why he could hurt her "how?" She asked confused, her eyes desperate to know

"Hmm..." He seemed to be thinking for a few moments, then he spoke, "As you know, upon this side, it is tethereed completely and fully to my true emotions and thoughts." His blue eyes flickered to Alice's gaze, "And even if some emotions don't come as strong as most human emotions, some other emotions are far more stronger and passionate." Once more he paused, then after gathering his thoughts as his hand trailed down from her cheek to the pulse of her neck, "Some of these emotions can cause me to become extremely unstable; I can even become violent, or I'll become unfocused and with one blow I can easily kill you. Furthermore, your blood is also a factor unto this. Your blood, I find to be incredibly tempting and it smells so sweet... but, I don't wish to harm you." He hand moved his hand away and gently touched his lips to her pulse, "...And lastly, moments of intimacy, no matter how much I want to... I can't. It simply isn't safe, if I get too lost in the moment I could lose control and possibly kill you, not only that but I'll shift into the beast, and I simply don't want you around me if I'm like that. It still could be... possible, but it's very slim." As he spoke, his cool breath gently brushed against her soft skin, and the sweet scent of blood had caused him to smile slightly.

Alice looked at him and felt his hand on her cheek and blushed. she was confused by how his emotions were but she felt a bit nervous as he said he could easily kill her in one blow. i should make sure not to upset him and make sure i dont mess with his emotions... she thought in her head. she continued to listen t him as he mentioned the part of her blood and remembered he was part vampire and felt nervous as she felt his hand on her post. whats it like to love something that you can eat? i mean i could be food for him.....no i am food for him but he just has emotional connections with me she thought. she still was sleepy and since she was sick she wasn't going to thing straight for a while. she listened to his last part and felt said, she actually wanted to fee his love. "b-but that means i wont ever be able to physically show you my love.....wont be able to show you with my body.....o-or give myself in to you" she said sadly. it seemed like she wanted to cry as she looked at him

Lucian's gaze then turned to her's, a small smile was on his face, though his gaze seemed patient, he gently kissed her for a few short moments then pulled away and said softy, "Maybe not now, but have patience, I still need to get used to controlling myself. It may be possible sometime in the future, but even I can't be so sure. Besides, I'm sure that you're not ready for anything like that yet."
