  • She watched him walk away and sigh softly, one of the students who were sitting behind them leaned over the seat "Smooth Ms. Deja, real smooth." The girl giggled before leaned back. Bridgette looked over her shoulder with a frown "I don't know what your talking about." She said with a confused tone even though she knew what the girl meant. Turning around Bridgette leaned her head back and sighed again.

  • Daniel tried to take as long as he could. He grabbed a soda from the airline attendants cart on the way to the bathroom and drank that. He lingered over the sink, washing his hands slowly.
When he sat back down, he still felt awkward.

  • When Daniel sat back down the girl behind them poked Bridgette on the top of her head trying to tell her to talk to him but she didn't do anything. She sat there deep in thought. She looked over at the covered window "I'm sorry Daniel, I made things awkward." She said suddenly.

  • "What? Awkward? I just had to use the bathroom, I didn't leave because things were awkward," the lie was pathetic and unbelieveable. He sighed, "Fine, I'm sorry, I did feel uncomfortable."

  • "Let's just um...forget that happened." She said quietly and looked over at him from the corner of her eye. She knew they had a long while till they got to Germany but she couldn't wait for the flight to be over, the only thing they could really do that would pass the time was sleep or talk.

  • Bridgette closed her eyes with a sigh, high school kids were so immature. Since her phone was in her bag she decided on just sleeping but before she fell asleep she raised the blinds "whoa." She whispered. Everything below them was so tiny. Looking up from the ground she noticed the clouds, they were white and fluffy. She smiled as she looked at them with pure interest.

  • Daniel closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep, but light from the window hit his eyes. Instead he settled for reading a book.

  • She glanced over at him "oh I'm sorry." She murmured and closed the blind again before leaning back in the seat and yawned. Slowly she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

  • Eventually Daniel fell asleep too. He was jolted awake when the plane landed.
"Oh, we're here," he mumbled, "Hey, Bridgette, wake up."

  • Bridgette groaned and slowly opened her eyes to see a few people getting off the plane "damn." She whispered and rubbed her eyes. She unbuckled and yawned a bit as she stood.

  • "Russia's cold." She said with a pout before nodding "alright." She said and grabbed her bag from overhead and walking off the plane after the students.

  • Daniel followed, they got through long lines of security and boarded the bus.
"I'm sorry, sir," the woman said, "We don't have another room for Ms. Deja, they're all booked."

  • Bridgette frowned and rubbed the back of her head "well there's two beds to a room right?" She asked and glanced at Daniel "we're both adults it shouldn't be a problem to share a room right?" She asked hopefully

  • She smiled with relief "Yeah I don't mind!" She said happily. Taking a seat on the bus she held her bag on her lap as she looked out the window.
