    Spots flashed though the white and brown scenery of the forest. A twig snapped here and a raven took off into the air screaming a warning to all who would listen. Elvira stood there watching the black creature as it took for the sky. She had not been hunting; and looked like she wouldn't be able to for a while. Every edible thing would be long gone at the sound of that warning. Her head tilted to the side before continuing on her way.

    If she was not hunting what was she doing? Patrolling? No, she did not feel well enough yet to be dealing with trespassers and strangers who wanted to join. She had to be cleansed first. She had to clean the monsters out of her head before anything else could be done. She couldn't even think clearly. She did not know why she was here or if she wanted to stay; and she wouldn't know until her mind was finally silent.

    So many images flashed through her mind flooding her gaze. Images of so many creatures. Siblings, friends, enemies, mothers, fathers, monsters, but mostly just him; mostly just Xander. She hated him so much. How dare he!? How dare he make her love him? How dare he think he could just die and leave her all alone? He still had her heart! He wasn't allowed to go anywhere with her heart damnit! Too late. The bastard was dead and she was stuck here to broken to even function. She had no one left. Mother was gone. Father was........let's just say gone. Siblings were all gone. Friends were all vanished. Lover was dead. What else could life still have for her that she was not dead too? Was this fair? Gah! She just wanted to kill something!

    Finally stopping Elvira took in her surrounding and found herself by the roaring river. Ah of course. How she loved the water. In their old territory she had all but lived on the beach. It was soothing for her and of course allowed for her best thinking. Taking a seat the savannah wrapped her tail around her small frame. It was freezing outside and in all honesty she was too weak to be out here for long. Did she care? Not even a little but. Perhaps she would finally die?

    Elvira wasn't the only one adapting to a lost loved one, Cata was still struggling to cope and come to terms with no longer having his loved fiancee at his side. Apart of his missed her dearly despite the pain she put him through each day by cheating and flirting with others yet he also hated her. Hated her for leaving him alone and having to explain to their kits that their mother wasn't coming home that night; or any night for that matter. It's been months since that tragic day when he stumbled across her corpse, torn apart in every direction and hardly even identifiable. Yet he knew, he knew that was the queen he adored, and he knew that she wasn't coming back as she had a couple of times before.

    He had just finished his chat with Neptune, having decided that it was best to go on his way. Yet for some reason there was something that continued to draw him back to the Sunclan border. Paws quite tired from the long journey from Bloodclan, the tawny desert lynx would cock his head in wonder. Why was he still here? Perhaps he should just talk with the next member who passed by, maybe that was it. Maybe he was just... in the mood to talk despite his usual anti-social persona.

    She probably would have stayed like that forever. Staring at the river and potentially freezing to death. Perhaps that's why she got no better, because she would not allow her body to do any better.

    It was his scent that stirred her. Not the sounds he made or even the distant presence of his mind. It was his scent. It triggered her because of the memories it triggered. Bloodclan. They were old memories; but her first ones none the less. Being warm and young surrounded by her siblings and her mother. A mother who would never let anything happen to them. The beginning of her life and drama. And wars. How many wars had their been with the clan from the desert; her birth place. Turning her head the start of a growl sounded in the back of Elvira's throat. Who was here from Bloodclan?

    Getting to her paws the feline slid through the frozen underbrush of the territory following her nose to the stranger. Her copper red eyes narrowed with suspicion having stopped the wildcat. She was still weak from her travels and in no shape to fight, but to hell if she would let this idiot waltz through her home like he owned it. With her growl growing louder Elvira let herself be seen, coming from the shadows. "We may be allies, but that doe not allow you free reign on our home bloodclanner." The savannah hissed as she stood there bristling and her claws digging into the ground. If she would have to fight him she would. Hopefully he would have enough sense not to want to. Not all those desert cats had sand in their ears.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; border-width: 0px; text-align: justify; font-family: times new roman;]The tom's brow would arch and he'd look down at his paws for a moment, raising it and using a single claw to draw a line. "I'm not trespassing, I'm just near the border." He'd remind with a sigh. Damn, and Sunclanners thought Bloodclanner's were snappy? "Besides, that's no way to speak to a high position of any clan." The female looked oddly familiar but decided to pass it aside. He wasn't aware at the time that the the she-cat was one of the few daughters of his frenemy, Gothika.

    {What?! You can't lolz}

    Her copper red orbs stayed fixed on the tom as he shifted his position. Her own posture stayed the same. Stiff and hostile. Only the very tip of her tail twitched back and forth ever so slightly. High postition eh? That might mean something to certain suck ups. It meant very little to Elvira. He was no one from her clan. And if he so much as ticked her off she would have no problem attacking on the grounds that she thought he was trespassing. Can't get mad at a warrior doing her job. In wars they fought leaders the same as any creature. Did't make them any better.

    "Your a cat and I shall speak to you as you deserve. No high position of mine." Elvira said with as much hostility in her voice as ever. It was rather amusing. This was how she had first met Xander kinda. Snapping and snarling at him for something he had said to her brother. Never had she thought she would love him; and we know what happened there.

    "Have you nothing better to do in your own clan that you have to be snooping around ours?" She demanded with a twitch of her whiskers. He could thank daddy Perma for the fact she looked nothing like her mother. The wildcat blood formed her into a proud wildcat and nothing like the domestic black feline that was her mother. Out of all the children Cerberus and Blackcorset looked most like their mother with their coal colored coats. "If your a position of any importance then who are you? I do hope you aren't Serpentine. Never wanted to meet my jackass cousin. Though you aren't a serval as he is I suppose that doesn't matter for you all change bodies like it's in fashion." That was a bit more talking then Elvira usually did for most people
