    skylar made her way over and looked too.

    "There's no squid tentacle marks on his neck," Thunder commented.
    "Maybe a poison?"

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 330px][size=6pt]sky looked and nodded. "maybe. but a poison wouldn't make him scream like that. a poison would be quick and easy.."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 330px][size=6pt]sky slipped off the jacket jason was wearing. there was blood on the back. he carefully turned jason over and there was a large gash down his back. "so it was a sword, then.."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 330px][size=6pt]sky lost it again. his head fell and he cried silently.


    skylar turned away. it was weird seeing sky like this.

    Thunder wrapped her arms around him, eyes turning to blue again.
    "Sky...What if this isn't Jason?"

    "Wha if, the squid are trying to trick us?"
    "And Sky, I've never seen you really cry..."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 330px][size=6pt]"but.. then.. jason could be alive?" sky asked, although it didn't really sound like a question. "..and, yeah, i don't really cry in front of people."

    "Yeah!"
    Thunder turned to Deadlox any Skylar.
    "I have a hunch that Jason is alive!"

    skylar looked at the body. "yeah. that's what's-his face. the battle training instructor." she thought for a second. then she snapped her fingers. "nathan."

    "Jason must have been captured by the squids," Thunder said to her companions.
    "We need to go spy on them. Someone coming with me?"

    skylar blinked and looked at sky. "what about what happened last t-"


    he cut her off. "i said i'll go. i have to get my friend back."

    Thunder shot a warning glare at Skylar, her blue eyes turning back to soulless white.
    "Come on Sky.."
    Thunder hustled out of the base, and waited outside.

    sky followed thunder, smiling slightly when he heard skylar.

    skylar looked around, wandering back towards deadlox.

    She nodded, summoning fire in the palms of her hand.
