I glanced over the course with curiosity, after listening to Shiloh, and glancing at Luke, I began to plan myself. I had planned to take two, risky shortcuts, coming at the triple at a sharp angle, but I wanted to try it anyway.

(I actually don't jump in rl but I'll try my best)
Luke scanned over the course, quickly measuring what he would have to push Bat on more and what her weaknesses would be. He nodded and held onto Bat more with the reins. Luke motioned Bat into a trot and scanned over the course once more before motioning Bat into a canter. Luke felt her tighten more into the canter and he began setting her up with a jump. Bat stretched over the jump and held back a kick, feeling that Luke was stressed. Luke pushed Bat more at a tight bend and jumped her again. Bat flipped her tail a bit and rounded tightly and jumped again. Luke set his game face on and rounded Bat again to align with the triple. Luke inhaled quickly and pushed Bat more, setting her up cleanly. She jumped nicely and went to the last jump a little lazily but shaped up at last moment and trotted after finishing the jump. Luke patted Bat neck and smiled, happy with Bat's performance.

I was thinking in a critical way, and came up with a few things, but not many as his ride wasn't too bad. I nod and smile at him, "Good round". I comment, patting Red as he briskly danced beneath me.
-
Shilloh dropped her reins and clapped lightly, tapping her fingers on her palm, "Amazing. Justin, go." She called awaiting for the rider to start his round. Bullet shifted, wanting to show off but she made him set his head down.
-
I gave a quick nod, then urged Red into a slow canter. He needed no second telling, he broke into a collected canter, and I circled him around the first jump. I turned him at it, and he rose up, landing with an abrupt thud, as he glided around the edge of the arena. I dug in my heels, and he sped forward, launching over the second, his powerful hindquarters rippling. I shift my legs and Red performs a flying change, and I turn him towards a left lead jump. He soars over, and I sharply turn him in midair, twisting, he lands side on and I urge him forward to the double, taking a shortcut. He propels over, hesitating on the second but I dig in my heels and he leaps over instantly. The triple looms ahead and I guide him towards it skillfully, going up into my jumping position as he shortly leaps, I collect him in the air and he lands, takes a stride and clears the second. His auditorys prick forward at the third jump, and he launches over with inches to spare. I collectedly canter him around the ring, before bringing him to a swift halt in the line again.
-
Luke half smiled and watched Justin's round. Bat lowered her head lazily and sniffed the ground. Luke shifted his weight and smiled at Justin when he came back into the line up. "That was really good," he said shifting his weight again on Bat.
-
Destiny watched as justing did his round, all the while dawn as getting more impatient. "Dawn, you will get your turn." She whispered to the mare.
-
Shiloh smiled at Justin, "that was great." She commented pushing brunette hair over her shoulder and picking up the reins, 'Destiny? Do you show jump?" She called to the back not recalling seeing her hand raise, but everyone needed a chance.
-
Destiny shook her head, patting dawn lightly on the neck.
-
"Thanks." I reply to Luke, "Your's was good too." I add. I nod and smile at Shiloh, then I pat Red softly, praising him. He snorts, swishing his tail. I give him some rein and he comfortably lowers his head, peering around.
-
"You both did well." Destiny clapped softly, smiling.

I turned to Destiny and flashed a grin, "Thanks." I say, praising Red again.
-
"Then I guess it's my turn." Codi smiled from around the group, she led Pride out onto the rail, "Canter." She whispered and in an easy transition Pride picked up a smooth canter that was easily adjusted, she went for the triple first, easily sliding to and from two-point. Pride took the jumps like a pro and although her headset extended and she attempted to go faster a light coo from Codi had her back down to the canter as they cleared a flower box jump like they knew the course and made and expert turn over the four footer and soared, Pride keeping good form and landing softly before finishing the ride with a large single cross rail. Pride slowed her gate to an invisible cue, unseen, like it was easy.
-
I dropped the reins and clapped lightly. "Nice." I comment, picking the reins back up swiftly. I felt myself admiring Codi's bond with Pride, and looked down at Red for a second, wondering if I could ever have a bond.. That strong..
-
"thanks." Codi smiled trotting back into the group and slowing her horse next to him, "You weren't so, yourself." She complemented then looked over at Shiloh who was smiling. She pat Pride lightly, who didn't seem to be bothered by Red and Justin, which was weird because the only beings besides Codi that Pride didn't b*tch at were Shiloh and Ace.
-
Destiny clapped again, "that was wonderful." She complimented codi smiling
-
I smiled slightly, shrugging. Red glanced at Pride, his ears swerved acutely towards her, before peering around at the other equines with interest. "You have an amazing bond." I say shortly after the silence, gesturing to Pride, "I haven't seen anything like it before." I add quickly, lightly holding the reins in one hand, so Red can stretch out his neck comfortably.
-
Codi watched as Pride reached over and lightly sniffed Red's shoulder, not purposing a threat, just curiosity. "Thank you. But actually, It's all the liberty. Pride was so far gone when we first got her that her first month at our barn we just had her chilling in a pasture before she realized that her racing career was over, that we weren't going to push her limits, or whip her anymore. That's when I decided, we could be equals, friends, I'm no master," She looked embarrassed, "I'm a little too shy for that." She then realized how long she had talked and blushed again.
Shiloh calmly took a breath, Bullet's energy was too scattered, he was swinging his head in different directions, and tossing it up, steeping forward, side ways. Shiloh kept this discreet, because she didn't want it to be like yesterday, everyone would think she can't control her horses. So that is why she played it off and watched one of the other newbies, bomb the course, jerking their gelding's head everywhere, spooking jumps, it was awful. -
Luke flinched at the, well, horrible course. Bat focused her attention on the gelding's squealing and refusuals. She side stepped a bit, and Luke scolded her lightly, not wanting any silliness to encourage the feisty mare. Out of the corner of his eye, Luke saw Shiloh and Ace prancing a bit. He walked Bat over to Shiloh, wanting to talk to her anyway.
-
Shiloh clapped a little awkwardly when the newbie, she believed her name was Sarah, cantered the horse, on the wrong lead to the rail and to the back of the group. She watched the last rider go on a black stallion who's coat gleamed but the rider, not so much. Shiloh then turned her head and smiled at Luke moving her way on bat, Bullet jerked his head down.
