Welcome my child. Sit and I shall tell you all the history of the clans on this island.
Once, very long ago, there was a cat name Honolulu. Her ambitious drove her to her exile and loneliness. They say she was pregnant with Talonwing's kits before she left, some say she met a loner and fell in love. However, one day she decided that her ambitions were more important and left her lover. One night she slept in a boat she thought was abandoned; however it was not. She awoke on a beach, the tide slowly lapping at her belly fur, in a net. Soon after she got out of the fishing net, she gave birth to four beautiful kits in the what the two-legs called the 'Palm Forest'. The eldest was Seakit, a Tom with sleek fur and strong muscles; a born leader they say. The second was Palmkit, a She-cat with long hair and a slim body; born to hunt they say. The third was Sandkit, a she-cat with a snappy tongue, and short sandy fur; born to be a medicine cat. And last but not least: Sunsetkit. A Tom with a gorgeous pelt: a calm Orange mixed with a creamy yellow and peach. Mom's favourite might I add. He was resourceful, calm, and whole-hearted. Born with the wisdom and courage to do anything. Honolulu's ambitions were still important though. She decided she would rule the island in a clan called Honoluluclan. But the mother died a month later after a disease she caught after giving birth. The siblings were about 7 moons old when they decided who shall rule the island. Seapaw thought it should be him because he was older and stronger. Palmpaw thought she should rule because she was the best hunter therefore a better provider. Sandkit thought she should because she could protect them of diseases with her knowledge of herbs. Sunsetpaw didn't think he was better in any way, just thought his denmates were just too ambitious. They battled among each other for the throne. In one of their battles, there was a hurricane. A strike of lightning broke the battle apart and a beautiful start cat appeared. It was Honolulu. "My children, you musn't fight over the island anymore. I will break you up in what the heavens call clans. Seapaw. You will rule over the docks and jungle at the north side of the island. You will call your clan Seaclan. Palmpaw will rule over beach and the caves and tidal pools at the east side of the island. You will call your clan Palmclan. Sandpaw will rule over the small abandoned town at the west side of the island; where most herbs thrive. Your clan shall be called Sandclan. Sunsetpaw. My dear Sunsetpaw. You shall rule over the Palm forest and the mountain in it. Your clan will be called Sunsetclan." She finished before disappearing. Stunned in awe, they stumbled silently to there own borders. With a nod farewell, they departed. In each territory there was a mate for each apprentice. Sunsetpaw and Cloudpaw; Sandpaw and Shellpaw; Palmpaw and Leafpaw; and Seapaw and Oceanpaw.
And the clans still thrive today.

Sunsetclan consists of the Palm Forest and the Great Mountain. The Palm Forest has hundreds of Palm trees. The heart of the Great Mountain is their camp. It has confusing twists and turns and dead ends, only the Sunsetclan cats can make it to the heart of the mountain, because their scent is always mysteriously washed away. The tide pool is at the very top of the mountain, by far the hardest to find. Only medicine cats can lead cats there.
