Azia is an older teen. Forced to live in an asylum because she saw ghosts and was friends with them. Your character is a new doctor there that takes a special interest in her and they eventually fall in love.
Azia sat in the corner of the white room. Her hands brought up to hide her face. Nothing would break her, nothing. Those doctors thought that they were so smart, being able to cure people of this 'disease' they had. No. They wouldn't take her friends away. Not the tests. Not the electricity. Not even her parent's love would make her leave her ghost friends to the world they supposedly belonged in.
'There, there, child. There is no need to worry. I am here for you. I always will be.' A voice whispered to her from the opposite corner of the cell.
Lifting her eyes, Azia smiled as she saw the ghostly form of Natasha. The first ghost that she had ever known. "I know. I will never let them take you away from me. Never." Azia looked around the white walls. She knew that they were watching her. Every one knew. "You hear me?! Never! I want my friends. Nothing can take them away. NOTHING!!!!"
