    Kane looked over to Shoichi and smiled a bit, "He's had a rough day" Kane muttered as he than plopped down in the nearest seat, "We've all had a rough day..." he added as he than looked out the nearest window. It was getting dark and the titans were beginning to disperse, "we should probably spend the night here, we can fill our gas tanks and head out in the morning"

    Saki nodded, taking one last glance at Shoichi before taking a seat beside Kane. "Yeah, I'm beat," she said, putting her head on his shoulder. "But I how Shoichi is going to handle battle with one leg. Will he just stay here at headquarters?"

    Kane sighed and shook his head, "No, he'll have to come with us, well just have to avoid any conflict, besides, our main objective is to get out of this town and back to Wall Rose" he told her. He then blushed a bit when she placed her head on his shoulder, "It-It's uh, going to be a little hard, but I'm sure we can manage" he said, stuttering a bit as he did so.

    Saki blinked, looking up at him from her position on his shoulder. "Yeah, we'll just have to be more careful with him as we go to Wall Rose," she said, a sigh coming out of her lips. She closed her eyes, scooting herself closer to Kane.

    Kane looked down to Saki and nodded, "Yeah, but he's still a pretty skilled fighter, He can hold his own if anything happens" He assured Saki. Kane let out a long yawn and hesitantly began to wrap his arm around her, "I'm sure well all be fine if anything happens"

    Saki nodded. "Shoichi-san is our deputy after all," she said, yawning as well as she let Kane wrap his arm around her. I've never felt this way before, in someone's arms... she thought, feeling her face grow hot. She ignored the feeling, snuggling up against him. "Good night, Kane."

    "Good night, Saki..." Kane said with a quiet tone as he than let out a short yawn. He was exhausted, he and his teammates have been through so much in just a mere day. Kane felt his eyes begin to close as he began to drift off, "...good night, bro" he muttered as he than feel asleep.

    ( *Le skip to the next morning* )


    Saki was jolted awake as she felt her body and Kane's shaken by someone. It was Shoichi, and his face appeared to be worried.


    "Guys, wake up!" Shoichi yelled, his body supported by the table as he shook the two awake. "The Titans have broken into headquarters! We have to get our refill our gas tanks and get the hell out of here!"

    Kane woke up with a shocked and confused expression as Shoichi told them their situation, "What!? How the hell did they get in here?" he asked Shoichi as he than began to strap on his 3D gear.

    Shoichi shrugged, strapping his 3D maneuver gear onto himself. "I don't know," he said, hearing another crash from the floor below them. "I woke up to the sound of a crash at the bottom floor of headquarters. That's where all of the gas tanks are!"


    Saki gulped, feeling adrenaline pulse through her veins. "This is not going to be pretty," she said, gritting her teeth as she pulled her 3D maneuver gear on as well.

    Kane took a deep breath and pulled out his blades, "Alright, lets not waist anymore time, Let's think of a plan and get rid of those bastards"

    Saki nodded. "I'll be a distraction," she said, pulling out her blades and sharpening them. "You and Shoichi-san, get the gas tanks while I distract the Titans in the bottom floor."


    Shoichi glanced at her. "Are you sure about that, Saki?" he asked, a bit unsure about the plan that she had devised.

    Kane quickly shook his head in disagreement, "No, I have the most gas out of all of us, I should be the distraction" he told Saki.

    Saki bit her lip, then looked up at Kane. "I don't want everything to go under my fault again," she said. "I should be the one at stake."


    Shoichi exchanged glances with Kane. Should she really do this? he thought.

    Kane let out a short sigh and took the gas tanks out of his 3D gear, "Fine" he said as he than handed her his gas tanks, "Your going to need as much gas as possible in-case anything happens, and since your empty, you can use the rest of mine" Kane told her, "Please, just be careful"

    Saki smiled at Kane, taking his gas tanks and switching them. "Got it. I won't let you two down again," she said, giving the two boys a quick hug. "All of us have to make it out of here alive."

    Kane nodded, "And we will make it out of here alive" he assured Saki, he then looked up to Shoichi, "You ready to do this?" he asked him.

    Shoichi nodded, smirking lightly. "Ha, I'm always ready," he said, getting onto his right leg. "Let's get this show started."


    Saki nodded, saluting the two of them. "Tell me when you two are done," she said, rushing down the stairs and toward the Titans.

    "Good luck" he told Saki before she ran out, he then looked down to where Shoichi's left leg should be, "So do you need some help, or are you just going to hop on one leg the whole time?" he asked.

    Saki rushed downstairs, grimacing at the Titans clawing out at her as she entered. "Hey, you ugly Titans! Over here!" she said, swinging one of her swords.


    Shoichi looked down, then chuckled lightly. "Well, I guess I do need some help," he said. "Thanks, man." He laced an arm around Kane's shoulder, feeling a slight relief from his right leg.
